Man I wanted this...until I saw the 215 price tag...maybe cornerstore comics will have it for a bit cheaper. No way I am EVER paying over 200 for a fig no matter how awesome it looks...

Fixed. Both Sam Jackson and Jermey's sculpt destroy this unmasked one for cap. Unless you have an actual photo of Chris Evans straining on the crapper that looks spot on to this head, I can't agree with you at all.

That gif of him firing a gun is pretty close to that expression. You can tell it's him though, right? At least they didn't make him look asian.

Do you know for a fact that HT is on a trend of losing sales? And don't use the fact that things aren't selling out. We don't know what the production numbers are now compared to last year, 2 years ago......

Maybe.... "Hey Hot toys!... put a 200 dollar cap on standard 1/6 figures so we can all feel good about staying in this hobby ok?! Charge an assload for 1/4 scale stuff to supplement, you'll do alright!"

With a price of $215 ( which I think is too high ) and free shipping, that IS $200.

Hulk is gonna be a really hard sell for them,

1. If they go the rubber route they'll sacrifice articulation and the customers sick and tired of their rubber QC.
   
2. If the go the muscle body route they'll be sacrificing articulation a fair bit and those whose hate visible joints and wanted rubber will pass.

Either way they'll lose a bunch of customers and it's not like the remaining customers will all buy, what with the way HT gets diessected for accuracy and their trend of losing sales with each price increase

Some peolple moaned about the visible joints on Jake sully and the price tag, HULK's gonna have a bigger body with a bigger view of the joints and an even bigger price tag

One thing though is Hulk is the only character we know whose not getting a sequel. So this is likely collectors only chance of getting him unless they do an Avengers 2 but that won't happen til well after ironman3, Capt.2, Thor2 if at all so everybody should pony up for Hulk and sacrafice all the Avengers in order to afford him if need be.

(PHEW!) Doesn't ship til September through Alter Ego. Puts a little space between him and Hawkeye. It's a bummer it's almost $200, but I figure we are getting a whole separate portrait and 2 shields. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it! On the outside. On the inside, I'm seriously trying to rationalize spending so much moolah to complete the Avengers team. Ah, who am I kidding? I'm gonna be as giddy as a schoolgirl when I get these figs in-hand.

In HK and Japan Avenger's Cap is priced at the same price as Red Skull.

This is more of a case of the MiddleMan/Distributor hiking the price on a more in demand hero.

Just PO my cap. Had $30 in SSC credit. So $185 isn't that bad. I just hope someone makes a better Chris Evans HS.

No its just what it is, 215 with free shipping or 200 and damn free shipping so pay 15 bucks for that too. And what I mean is even the decked out DX's would be no more 200, this would fetch a reasonable 160.

IMO with people saying that $215 is too high they are bound to lose some sales from people who would've paid $189-$200

and free shipping only applies to US customers

free shipping to US = $215, shipping to the rest of the world = est $240

Slated for Oct/Nov in Asia... so unless it is brought foward like Black Spidey... you'll be lucky to get it before Christmas

That's because everybody is numb to eBay setting the standard for HT's sculpts so in your mind they just threw an extra 100 dollar value in. We get it... But not really.

Just preordered..! I balked at first from the price-it is too high HT didn't have to start exactly from square 1 with this design. The costume fabric and the Cap Headsculpt is not that different from the first HT Cap. But who am I kidding it's a must have especially as much as I enjoyed my HT First Avenger. Looks like Chris slimmed down a bit from the film pics i've seen and the looks of the figure . Too many 21st century vices I guess .

i think this should've retailed at $200 with the BD shield being an ex for $215

It looks awesome, the Evans sculpt looks fine to me. 2 sculpts, two shields, awesome job all round.

Buy it or don't buy it.

I would of thought Red Skull price but it appears another HT price hike....meh. I was passing anyway except on head sculpt. Bring on Hulk...
