This is awesome, but please can we get a look at the Hulk...and some of the 1/4th scale Avengers.

If I'm going to have multiples of the same character...I'd like them like I like my Transformers...in a variety of different scales.

I'm not even a grimace sculpt hater but yeah...I could go for one of these.

Looks like he's rockin' a bit of a milk mustache, but still. I don't have all day to Photoshop this stuff.

I have no problem with the open mouth but I like this better

Yeah, people say that whenever a new figure comes along again more expensive that the last, i don't see it. Too many of their figures must also have this extra licensing fees too.

The way i see it, Hot Toys are trying to see how much they can squeeze their customers before eventually losing out.

I said in the Hawkeye thread each new Hot Toys release will go up in price. Got into a whole big economic discussion about oil and likeness licencing. But in the end the truth is Hot Toys is going to keep raising the price of it product as long as we keep paying it. I like the way this came out, but I think I may have to pass on it.

I don't buy licensing fees costs- I see HT trying to get all the $$$$ they can while 1/6 is hot (getting colder IMO) before the implosion....like comics twenty years ago.

Exactly, it's not a question of people can't afford.... Rather their self discipline to not to pay astronomically for it.

Another voice of reason...pricing already has hit me.....no more buying anything that catches my eye- like the "old" days of $150 HT figures!

Seems so, but i think the number of people throwing their balls over their shoulder and going home with their cash is increasing with each price increase

Bleh. I was hoping the costs wouldn't be that high cuz I want the entire Avengers cast like many people.

This is actually my plan. I want the helmet version head only. So if Jenn agrees, then I will be selling the non helmet. I don't like it, and I wont ever use it, and I'm getting broke. So might as well let it go.
