I love the look too and that gun looks awesome but I don't know where I would place him. He will look abit put of place next too Vader flanked by 2 Stormtroopers I think, can't pose him on my sandtrooper shelf, can't pose him with my scouts+bike, can't pose him with my Probe Droid and eventual Snowtroopers.

Maybe next to Boba Fett and Bossk? Or hanging out with a TIE Pilot and AT-AT Driver.

Still haven't decided on keeping my P.O.

I disagree, that is how I have mine set up now and plan on having this guy crouching down right in front of Vader aiming his huge gun (I guess reminiscent of the crouching Snow Trooper)

I think the only "obscure" characters you are likely to get out of Hot Toys will be the trooper variants. And for OT trooper variants, the Spacetrooper is about as obscure as the OT gets.

Sounds like a cool display, but I just can't see it working for me.

Good thing we all have different ideas or all displays would look the same. :)

perhaps a Shocktrooper as seen within the Battlefront footage?

Absolutely. I actually only have that planned for the first round so to speak. I try to redo my displays every couple of months at least when I dust everything. I mean, I bought action figures for a reason so I have to change it up. Usually the first few weeks when someone new comes, they don't even get a master spot yet, they sit right on my computer desk and I experiment with all their accessories and poses for a while (unless they are too delicate... some figures I finally get looking good and put them up high and don't touch them except for dusting because I just know they are going to break).

The computer desk is the best spot to appreciate the new figure.

My wife would say the best place for any of my figures would be at the bedside of a needy child in a hospital.

Yeah, my wife would like yours. Mine contemplates having them "play" in the street from time to time. After getting thrown there from our third story apartment balcony.

She was not stoked when I got home from SDCC and unloaded the car.

If nothing else I'll probably just have the Spacetrooper attacking some of the heroes or maybe standing with the Shadow Trooper. I don't always go for scree accuracy with displays.

I always go for screen accuracy so I'm planning to shoot mine into space.

Actually, for real screen accuracy he should be placed somewhere in the room where you have to squint to see him and if you blink you miss him.

Yep all the roughed up characters together. Boba Fett, Sandtrooper and Solo

Haha my wife joked about giving Bossk a bath in the toilet when he arrived. :)

Glad to hear I'm not the only one getting hassles from their partners.

Not matter how great they are at first about your toys... their patience will eventually wear out. We just buy too much.

Mine is going to see afternoon show of "Trainwreck" with the girls... so I can smuggle my Scout Trooper and Stormtrooper home without worry today! :yess:
