Qui-Gone would be a welcomed use of synthetic hair vs sculpted, half sculpt for the top half of his head, synthetic hair coming down from under it, i just don't see a way to do hair hanging the way his does with sculpted hair and have poseability. Sideshow copped out by making all of his hair go behind him, and it never quite fully felt like Qui-Gon.

I'd say that showing figures from a prequel movie and the Holiday Special means that there's literally no door that *isn't* open from here on out.
I suppose it's only a matter of time before they release a Bespin Luke/Miss Piggy two-pack.

Not so much opening the door, just that they will make a few more PT figures. I don't see them doing as many as OT.

I don't know, have you seen the responses here? Haydakin will probably be the fastest selling SW figure. Hell on the 40th anniversary of the original movie there were more posts in the freaking *Attack of the Clones* tribute thread than any discussion about the movie that started it all. The guard might be changing.

Well if you think about it, when the Sideshow line started, ROTS had just come out, people in teens and 20s back then are now in positions to be buyers of pieces like this and favor for the more recent films and designs over the older is bound to come.

All they had to do was make a crappy ass Anakin that looked nothing like Hayden Christensen and the figure would bomb so they could forsake the PT and go back to Rogue One. But noooooo they just had to make it perfect.

It's a good likeness but the head sculpt just reminds me how funny Hayden looks when he tries to act threatening.

He just didn't have the demeanour or the acting chops to pull off 'intimidating'. Makes it so hard to believe that's the person who became Vader.

Perhaps you are correct. I guess it all depends on sales. Initial excitement is always high but that may fade by the time pre-orders come out and prices are announced.

Lol the responses here are so fun to read, no hates Star Wars as much as Star Wars fans. Get used to HT prequel figs, it is not a one and done deal.

...and I am a die hard OT guy, who was disappointed with the prequels. But I have since softened a bit on them. No shame in that.
