I'd say that showing figures from a prequel movie and the Holiday Special means that there's literally no door that *isn't* open from here on out.

I suppose it's only a matter of time before they release a Bespin Luke/Miss Piggy two-pack.

Hayden was great. The Hayden hate dies down more and more every year. Like the PT hate in general.

I wouldn't say great, but he did have some great moments.

Yeah, yeah, been hearing those criticisms for almost 20 years. I have a retort/defense for every single one of them, but I am tired of the argument. Christ on a cracker, you didn't like the movies, everyone knows that. But guess what? A lot of people DID, and that just makes you crazy right? I mean guess what? I didn't like Abram's Star Trek movies. Hated them actually, but, I wont waste my time in forums related to that film 8 years later. The issue is no longer about the prequels, they are old news. The real joke is about people continuing to fume over them.

Well, in all fairness to Disney, I did REALLY love Rogue One. I fault Abrams and the idea of 'giving the fans what they want'. The fans don't know crap. Abrams movies in general dazzle and fizzle. In the theater, you're like "Damn, this is great." Than afterwards, sometimes on repeat viewings and discussion with fellow fans, it morphs into a big turd.

Completely agree. TFA was just... There are no words. Disney.... I'd rather something try to be new and fail than play it that safe.

The end result is what matters, you just basically said you'd rather watch a **** movie than a non-**** movie, there's no awards for trying. JJ and Lucasfilm's job was to get the franchise back on track for a new generation and create likeable characters going forward. The stigma of the PT had to be washed away.

Sometimes I think it bothers people who didn't like a film knowing that there's others out there who liked it, more than it bothers people who did like that film knowing that not everyone is going to like it. I think I said that right.

I grew up with the precuels and didn't realize how bad Hayden acting was at that time so I don't hate him at all for me he is darth Vader and Vader is him that's it. The precuels have an awesome idea an excellent idea that was bad executed .a huge war mixing the jedis between the separatist and the republic all planed by this evil guy who not only won against the jedis but against the whole galaxy (except maybe Jabba) and errased the jedis from existance. But when we arrived at the cinema we saw aliens talk about politics bad acting and jar jar bings

I hate the prequels but this was without a doubt the best new figure shown at SDCC and looked so cool that I'm sorely tempted by it.

His acting wasn't really that bad. The dialogue was bad. Worse than the OT (which was kinda bad still).
