His acting wasn't really that bad. The dialogue was bad. Worse than the OT (which was kinda bad still).

OT acting was pretty darn good except for some ROTJ.

Anyone that thinks ROTS is a bad movie should really look into it more. Because it's actually amazing (imo).

I'll be getting two of these. While the stories were weak as water, the prequels did have great art direction and character design.

Star Wars is riddled with clunker dialog. All of it. I mean, it is really damn hard to talk about cosmic mysticism rolled around sci-fi techno-babble and not have a few cheese lines.

Structurally and from a screenwriters perspective it's pretty trash. But for people who ignore stuff like that I guess it's not that bad. But saying it's amazing is a bit absurd imo.

I would buy more characters than I care to admit. I'm getting anakin for sure. And rots kenobi. Qui gon is a yes at that point. Probably also maul, dooku, and geonosis slashed padme.

The OT had people like Harrison Ford who knew when the dialogue was bad and would say something. Mark Hamill often quotes Ford saying "you can write this s*** but you can't say it". PT perhaps suffered from more "yes" men. Also George didn't direct Empire or Jedi. Ewan McGregor was on Graham Norton even and eluded to George's bad directing when it came to the young Boba Fett actor in AOTC.

Anyway, this figure looks freaking awesome! and will definitely be the centerpiece to my SW collection

No. In general. I'm not interested in that. I enjoy the movie for what it is, as it is. TCW strengthens the movie significantly also.

There will always be people with different opinions, but I think most people who understands the crafting of movies will agree the prequels are less than great.

No. In general. I'm not interested in that. I enjoy the movie for what it is, as it is. TCW strengthens the movie significantly also.

TCW is great but in no way does it change the quality of the prequels.

There will always be people with different opinions, but I think most people who understands the crafting of movies will agree the prequels are less than great.

That's pretty much all they had going for them. And that's about all 8-year-old boys really care about. But there's a whole generation of 8-year-old boys grown up now.

Pretty much, I always did think the prequels had great world design and such. And I think the direction in terms of general focus could have worked great if it weren't for the execution.

Maybe not in your eyes but in the eyes of a lot of people I've seen/spoken to. But I'm convinced there's no convincing prequel haters at this stage.
