It's amazing what just a ding here and a scratch there, does for this thing!
Makes it look so real! The base paint is already so good, that not much has to be done to it.
It sure looks like you added more dirt and grime to the cage. Looks great.

Hold each yellow piston shell gripped tightly, thumb toward the silver/black tip, and using the thumb, push (you can use the other hand too) evenly until that first, scary, pop!
I'm encountering the same difficulty with the pistons, but I wanted to be sure of what I was reading: do you mean to push the silver/black tip laterally like you would push a beer cap off a bottle? Or just straight out?
I didn't remove the piston from the arm, but I did have to use pliers to get it to move. I wrapped a cloth around the plastic so as not to score it with the pliers. On mine it really felt like it wasn't supposed to pull out at all.
guys how tall is the power loader?
Thanks Chavez, detaching it from the shoulder did help. Once I knew the force required, I was able to do the other one still attached to the shoulder (but man, that was nerve-wracking!). As I slowly assemble the rest, I noticed in research that the air tubes were bound together at various points with clamps or rings. I might use left-over twist ties from action figures to do that job.Once I got the piston removed from the arm,I grabbed both ends of the piston, pulled and it came out.
Bugger, with all the concern about the pistons, I forgot to ask: how easy is it to unlatch the safety harness tabs (assuming HT wasn't able to engineer a working red release tab)? Is a special technique required for this as well?

I discovered the whole PL won't fit in my curio case. It's too big! And you guys want the Queen?
The expression is closer, but I just don't see the likeness there.Any comments? Interesting alternate head I think...
I am not happy with my straps and all. Seems they are too loose. Not sure how to tighten them. But they snap in and out ok. No problems for me there.
Here is that other Ripley head I found, the one by Frontline...
What do you guys think? I am on the fence. I like it a lot, but am not sure. There are different aspects to it from the HT one, so I like that, makes her seem more in scale and the Loader larger, if that is possible, but it also is sort of hard. I know she was hard, but not so much.

I knew I had seen her somewhere before! You're right!Yeah, this other head Les to me ends up looking more like actor Michael Ironside from the movie "Starship Troopers", and the T.V. show "V"!
