Those look great, zuckuss77....

Has there been ANY recent news from HT about any figures?

One would figure with the release of the DVD/BR this last week that SOME news might've surfaced...

Haha! :lol You say that yet you cry because I criticize this Prometheus line for being a waste of time on a group a characters wearing the same tacky looking spacesuits and about the only thing that would even be close to worth uying would be an engineer and if they made the ship.
Sorry but the Prometheus crew will just be generic and lame.:rotfl

I get it now, you can give your opinion in this thread ad long as you agree with everyone else and don't give a hint of criticism towards the line.;)

Because us gals can never be rational and thus make an argument from principle, this MUST be about some emotional grievance.

Interesting how you consider my demand that Shaw be given due respect as the main character is "man-hate". That pretty much exemplifies the sexism I am criticising. Thanks.

:monkey2 I gave you the best years of my life.

Not since I was fourteen.

So in other words, you are not the type of person I am criticising at all. The problem is some people here treat Shaw as either irrelevant or are actually hostile to the notion of a the main character leading off a line.

Honestly, I couldn't give a rat's ass about any of the human figures...male or female.

All I want is the Deacon.

But, you both continue your internet-rage against whatever it is you don't like about the characters, Hot Toys, or people's opinions of what is "hot" or "not", as I'm quite sure that just completes whatever life it is you have. :wave

For all the swings taken at MechMan the people ruining this thread are the douchebags quoted above.

You all need to grow up and deal with the fact that in a rare instance where a woman is the hero/protagonist of a fantasy film, just like all the other Alien films. I have never watched AvP, but a woman was the protagonist of the original Dark Horse comic.

Show some basic respect to the plot, filmmakers and actress or GTFO.

If you ever wonder what alienates women from geeky hobbies, when I know for a fact that a lot of women are interested, it is exactly the CONSTANT immaturity and sexism of the men we run into at cons, comic shops, message boards,....

Show some respect to the plot, filmmakers and actress or GTFO? Get a ****ing life you twat. We owe them nothing. The film was underwhelming, and the best thing in it was David. So take your trolling elsewhere. I'd expect that kind of talk from a noob.

Actually, I felt David was a bit over the top. Too much HAL 9000 and not enough Ash/Bishop.
I get that David was a prototype of sorts and both Ash and Bishop had some subtle sub-programs running, but I still find that David could've been a bit less 2001...

Star Puffs, you do realize that every Alien fan here would buy a Ripley in a heart beat, in any form....right?

Shaw is a good character...but she ain't that interesting enough to put on a shelf.

David is. He's an iconic looking character, who's role is much more interesting then Shaw's. Simple as that.

Shaw figure might be cool if she came with the Med Pod, and had an Alien Baby coming out of her...but she really didn't do anything really visually cool.

Shaw was interesting to me and I'm looking forward having her on my shelf. If the pictures posted by Plastic Enemies is an indication of anything, I hope it means we get Shaw with the medpod and the "squidbaby". That scene was epic.

Edit: But Shaw in a space suit is a must though, in my opinion.

Blame Sigourney Weaver! :lecture There are some great customs if you've got the cash to burn, though.

I do. But isn't it typical. One female character (other than Leia and Sarah Connor) that every bloke wants to own just as much as our USCMs and Arnie T-800s etc etc and there has to be a problem.
