They should just release a Ripley figure without weapons and then release the weapons with a Hicks figure.

Yeah, she cocked it ( hehe ) just before getting squished.

They can. If they stop trying to give her a gun. Just get the likness for Sigourney from Aliens without a weapon. Simple as that. Add it on as a separate piece.

That is what Geometric Designs models did. Sigorney Weaver gave them permission to use her likeness for a Riply kit only if the figure was not holding a gun. So they made the 1/8 vinyl kit of Riply holding a motion tracker. Then offered an accessory kit of a pulse rifle and flamethrower that also ( coincidentally ) had an arm to hold the gun and fit on the Ripley kit.

Just speculation but its possible she caught on to that little work-around and since just refuses outright to grant permission.

After watching the Prometheus commentary/documentary stuff I SO want a big-ass detailed Trilobite and Deacon now. I really never cared for the designs until I saw what went in the making of them.




...A life-size squid baby would be nice too. Get on it Palisades!

A Trilobite would be...bizarre.. sold by itself. It would really need to come with something else IMO - such as Shaw or the BD Engineer.

I wouldn't mind buying a lone Trilobite, but I'm sure if they made one he'd be partnered up with another character.
I never knew it had teeth/claws at the end of some of his tentacles. Badass.

Oh and the hammerpede. The detail on the screen-used prop is stunning.
I especially love the translucency of the indentations on his head-flap things.
I think he'd need to be bigger than 1/6 scale for that detail to really show though.
