I don't get the nose plug thing am I missing something how`s it`s supposed to look . I guess I`m blind and don't see it

Instead of a inserted piece painted silver, just painting the inside of the nose area silver would be better, and more accurate to the movie helmets.

so what`s the best method to taking out the nose plug it`s in there pretty tight

Still in love with the new sideshow Darth Vader. I understand the helmet is probably better on the HT versions...but just love how massive my Vader looks. And the hands on belt pose is great.

But that new Sideshow suit makes a lot of difference to that figure.

I thought I would be bothered by the ANH Vader nose plug, but to be honest I barely noticed it. I'd rather have a slightly larger chest box, accurate weathering, better electronics and hands.

You're not the only person who didn't get it. I've heard it mentioned, but had to do some searching before I got what was being talked about. Personally, it doesn't bother me at all.

As jkno mentioned, the hands and electronics are pretty much the only things that bother me about the ANH Vader.

The nose plug to me was one of the most noticeable inaccuracies in the HT Vader helmet, and the mod that makes the most difference. The plug was too far forward and had a chromed "lip" that created the effect that there were two noses, one within the other. Once it's moved back and painted a dull silver as it should be, the overall helmet looks way better.

And general, yeah I think the SSC box is bigger than the slightly undersized HT one, but the SSC's a pretty soft sculpt.

Just paint the outside of inner lip black and it's a big difference on the nose of the ANH Vader helmet

Matrix -- the Vader in your sig is sick., Looks like 1:1. Is that the HT with dome lowered? Great lighting. You really caught the ANH 'badass warrior' look.

For me the nose plug along with the gloves were glaring issues with the stock fig. Here's a comparison..stock,the real deal and modded.. View attachment 297368

Yeah despite the chest box being bigger it's also too long shape wise
