Nothing to be sorry about. I'd like nothing more than to get real characters straight out of the gate.

Yep - although given the next couple of years will be a pretty heady time time again for classic SW fans, it'll be a win for us overall anyway.

Believe it or not, grail for me... but I think most could do without him for true core characters.

Speak for yourself! An essential villain from ANH.

Vader was definitely second fiddle as far as plot agency was concerned. But, it's a valid point that the majority are interested in the antagonists with cool visual presentation.

God I just want a Darth Vader that looks awesome, unlike that skinny ssc version that was supposedly deluxe. I want a real DX Vader from HT :yess:

Yes, leave the basketball players to Enterbay and do a really perfect Vader somebody please.

In 2006, long before you were born, Sideshow started with Jedi Luke...

So I see HT starting with...

Can't wait for another old man in a brown robe.

:lol

Is that an official pic? Looks awesome.

Looking at Luke's sideways nose it looks like he did a little MMA to make some money on the side? :lol

I truly hope that in a galaxy far far away, there are no lens flares.

Re: Hot Toys - STAR WARS 1/6th & 1/4th Figures from Episode I-VII + New Interviews

Bring it on Hot Toys...side shoe quality is good but HT is just perfect

Re: Hot Toys - STAR WARS 1/6th & 1/4th Figures from Episode I-VII + New Interviews

JJ is a master imitator. It will look like old OT Star Wars.
I hope.

JJ has gotten way too much flack for his lens flares for Disney to allow it.... at least I would hope.
If he delivers the goods I could care less about lens flares. I hope Disney is more concerned about story, content, pacing, etc... As work gar said, getting the Star Wars vibe.

I just hope that it takes new liberties. I hope it doesn't end up like Superman Returns.... where it is too much of a love letter to the original films to try to do something new.

I have that fear every time I see some new tidbit announced. I think a lot of fans think they actually want this, but I think it's going to end up being a careful what you wish for scenario if it ends up being true.
