I think they intentionally wanted his hair to be different, but close in Origins, to sort of capture how he hadn't embraced the animal, and to make his later look capture more his embracing of what he is, also not knowing who he is.

So far, the woods scene in X3 is still my favorite Wolverine clip, he was just so badass and very much like a wild animal, it was great.

It's funny, even though some people hate it, I still like X3 best, because it shows so many cool mutants I like. I loved Kelsey Grammar as Beast, even got to tell him that lately, and he told me he hopes very much to play Beast again!

Yeah that scene and the Mansion attack in X2....And the Weapon X facility escape in XMO-Wolverine...

Yeah, musically and visually the mansion attack in X2 is one of my favorite scenes in all of the X-Men films. I also really liked Wolverine vs. Deathstryke, I wish that had gone on more.

Wolverine vs. Sabertooth in Origins and vs. Deathstryke in X2 were probably the best matchups, seemed the most like he was fighting an equal, it seemed like he owned Sabertooth in X1 and Mystique was elusive but not invincible.

It just occurred to me, I wonder if HT will be cool enough since it's origins Wolverine to include his bone claws pre-adimantium.

I think it's a pretty neat look, but somehow I've got a feeling HT's figure will be limited to post-procedure accessories.

What about different version of Wolvie they could do?
I guess African Mission Wolvie w/ bone claws...and maybe Weapon X procedure Wolvie too complete with adamantium tank maybe...

I have a feeling this will be the only Origins Wolverine, and we'll probably also get Sabertooth, and maybe a Deadpool, other than that, i dont' expect much from this license, now, if HT secured rights to all X-Men films and not just Origins and are only starting with Origins, that'd be great. Trilogy Wolverine and Ray Park Toad are highly desirable figures for me.

Sabertooth from Origins would be great if the sculpt is on the mark...

Leiv Schrieber was one of the best things about the movie...

As much as I didn't like how they broke continuity with Sabertooth's look, I did really enjoy Liev as Sabertooth, he actually made him a character and enjoyable, Tyler Mane was just a big hulking oaf.

I really enjoyed the relationship between Wolverine and Sabertooth.

No idea yet, we haven't even gotten full specs, just the reveal shot, I would guess 4th quarter, could be in time for the DVD, or could be closer to the end of the year, October's only about 3 months, that seems too soon for any figure.

I thought I read November 09 somewhere...hmmmm
Would be great if they got the X-Men Trilogy license too...I wants me a Magneto,Nightcrawler and Beast!!!!

My only chance for Toad if they have the other licenses is the fact that he's one of the easier of the Brotherhood to do, standard human, just differnt skin tone. Mystique and Mane Sabertooth would be tricky. Easily done from the X-Men Trilogy would be:

Storm
Cyclops
Professor X
Jean Grey
Wolverine
Ice Man
Rogue
Nightcrawler

Magneto
Toad
Deathstryke
Pyro

Those are figures without unique bodies that are easily within HT's ability.

I'd get Jean and Storm if they were X2 style, like their look in that film most. Wolverine in X2 or X3 costume would be great. Any Professor X I'd get. Toad and Magneto are probably the only villains I'd get, Mystique if they pulled her off well.
