:slap My bad :thud:

Well yeah, but if you go to the show you get more than just a $5 discount.
That's true, but if I were going to SDCC, I wouldn't waste my time trying to pick up toys. Seems like a better use of your time and energy to order the toys online and get them shipped home, and enjoy SDCC for the other stuff, whatever that might be. I don't get folks standing in line all day to get exclusive toys, then having to lug them around, and get them shipped back home manually (or carry them with you on the plane) when you're taking time away from work, and spending several hundred to a couple thousand dollars to go to this thing. Some companies have SDCC on-site exclusives (like Matty), and maybe it's easier to get ahold of Sideshow's exclusives if you choose the on-site pickup option, but still. . .I would personally just pay a slight premium to avoid having to hassle with that junk while on your trip.

But then, I know lots of people who go down to south Alabama for vacation, only to spend all their time shopping in the outlet stores, and that makes even less sense to me. . .I'm probably just not a very good consumer :(

So when 10 am rolls around, do you just refresh the Secret Project page, or is there another page for priority preorders?

Its all part of going to Comic-Con. I guess you gotta go to understand part of it. Buying Exclusives, prints, etc is just part of the experience I think.

I have never been and I think Josh is right. I won't be spending all my time in lines Just getting all my stuff first day which isn't that much and then I will pick up the odd thing as I walk the floor. If I miss out on something then so be it I am just going to enjoy the hell out of it :D

Oh and it'll all be coming home in my luggage, I ain't paying no shipping! I will make it fit!

Some of the best advice, organize, if you wanna attend some panels or other activities, gotta organize your time, and give yourself plenty of time for lines. That place can be really hectic, last thing you wanna do is be confused.

Yup, get your stuff early and be done with it. That way if you see an art print or film cell item you can get it and not worry.

Thats the best advice you can offer. As I said in the SDCC thread thats why I do my coverage thread. It allows people to start planning because that is the #1 most important thing. Have any invoices ready, what panels you want to go to, etc. That way you're set and ready to go the minute you hit the floor and recover from the shock of seeing everything.

I am ONLY getting the Clone and hopefully this from Comic-Con this year. For the past few years I have missed a few things because of waiting on lines for both myself and picking up stuff for friends or as trade bait.

Never again!

Got one. Sold out fast, but the site was smooth sailing during the checkout for me. Much better than Guardian Pred last year.

I wonder if there will even be a non-attendee edition then? IMO there shouldn't be since it's a "Comic-Con" exclusive. Then if they bring any back they can put those up for general "non-attendee" purchases.

Thoughts?
