I fail to see the practical purpose of a woman dressing half-naked with a bikini, stockings and stripper panties IN A DESERT. Quiet should have a full body cloak like Jill in RE 5.

Well the difference is that one is a space shooter while the other is trying to be Saving Private Ryan. No one would make a fuss if Quiet is a character in say, Metal Gear Rising 2. If Kojima wants to make his "gritty war drama" he should take it a bit more seriously.

I was talking about the character design, well don't know much about this game, but if this MGS V is supossed to be serious then Quiet kind of feels out of place with that weird outifit.
Meryl was sexy and she wasn't half naked Quiet's outfit should be more realistic

Am I the only one who remembers Fortune?
I think the only reason Kojima didn't do this in MGS1 is because of the triangle bewbs the PS1 was limited to.
This speaks nothing about how serious the game could be, thank god it's not all seriousness.

Yeah, but Fortune wasn't in a scorching desert with sand. Her attire looked like a swim suit, which seemed appropriate for a setting in the Big Shell - in case she needed to take a dive into the ocean.

Still, why show legs, why show butt or arms? Not very pragmatic, just like Sniper Wolf and her huge cleavage being in a freezing environment.... EDIT: Hmmm I didn't remember Wolf changed clothing for the fight, it's not too crazy to assume that Quiet can, you know, change clothes?
