The movie is great, for some reason its really not liked on SSF, but everywhere else its pretty much loved.

I doubt it's a bad movie per se, in fact I think it's so well done, has an outstanding cast, sublime acting and presentation. It's just as a representation of the character Batman, that's where it falls apart unfortunately. :(

I'm still guilty of taking cheap shots at Nolan whenever I can though. :monkey3

I agree with that.

I think Batman fans should feel lucky they got the Nolan trilogy though, now Snyder is going to give the Batman you guys want. Batman is fortunate enough to get all these different interpretations brought to live action. I’m a huge Submariner fan, and I don’t I’ll ever see him make it to the big screen.

I think when Batfleck finally hits the big screen, people will really appreciate the Nolan trilogy more, and then Batfleck will start being criticized, then when Batfleck retires he will be appreciated more etc…

Ralph Garman said it best, "Do your interpretation of Batman that you want, but keep the essence of the character there". "When Robin (Jason Todd) died, he took 8 minutes off, not 8 years!"

Maybe Nolan made an honest mistake? :lol

Ah well, what's great is that there is always a Batman for everyone. Heck, my ex LOVED the Clooney Batman the most. :rotfl

Thats the spirit :lol

I think the spirit of Batman and most of the villains were still there, but they changed just enough to fit into the more realistic world.

Batman didn’t retire because Rachel dies, I thought that was evident considering he’s still doing Batman work in TDK after she died. He retired because he wasn’t needed anymore. Now him not moving on with his life as Bruce Wayne is because of Rachel, which I felt was overdoing it a bit as well, I still take that any day over something like Iron Man 3 where Stark thinks Pepper is dead, and still goes on to make jokes after that.

In the Nolan trilogy, Batman doesn’t really have the luxury of fighting bad guys for 70 plus years like he does the comics, which is why since Batman Begins, he had a much more realistic goal that he sees through in TDKR.

Sorry I’m writing so much on this, love these films :lol

Exactly! He wasn't needed anymore. One of Lex's big reasons for hating Superman is because he thinks he's preventing the evolution of society and not allowing humans to work to their potential. He's worked his whole life for everything and this "clown" is a mockery of it.

Even if we didn't get the Nolan movies, I'm grateful. Batman the Animated Series brought the series to life in a way that I never would have dreamed of. The character is very malleable.

Great Caesar's Ghost! That's beautiful! This is only the beginning of the generation. I don't know if I want things to look better! It's scary!

Yeah, those pics were posted already.

It's more than just Batman's character. The entire script (and especially the ending) was just poorly executed. I remember when my dad got pissed at the "auto-eject" just seconds before the nuke went exploded, and there wasn't even a tsunami of any kind. There's just way too much material to make fun of this film :lol.

I love TDK, but TDKR fell completely flat as a sequel. It was, by far, the weakest entry in Nolan's film series.

In Outer Heaven, men become music videos. Loved the new song, and I'm glad that Donna Burke wasn't featured this time (never really liked her vocals).

I also can't believe those guys on MSF (?) tried to throw Big Boss's canister of cocaine into the sea! That's just evil. I liked the part when he was like, "no way, b**ch, you're not taking my cocaine!". And then he opens the jar, rubs the white powder all over his face, and lets the ocean air blow it into his nostrils. I'm glad it's confirmed, that this POS game is just a figment of Big Boss's imagination, as a consequence of the drug use frying his brain cells.

Gonna watch it after I download it with Keepvid. Brb boys. :yess:

Edit: Crap, for some reason my Internet Download Manager slows down to 54kb/s. Normally my downloads will be 550kb/s. :(

Do you guys just watch the video on Youtube just like that, or watch it in HD or download it for maximum quality with keepvid like I do? :lol

On a side-note, I read on Kotaku that someone at Konami posted the video by mistake. So, they're actively pulling it from the Interwebs (best of wishes with that :lol)

All the more reason I'm keepvidding it. Is that even a verb? :lol
