I read the entire things O_O. Some of this s*** seems very legit, in the pure details that it goes through. Well, it's either that, or someone has a very overactive imagination to write that up.

Seems odd, their PR team was doing a great job killing everything they didn't want the people to know, for the whole plot to be leaked just like that?

I don't know, still gonna stay away from it though.

I'll say that some things that were mentioned seem plausible. But, there's a good chance 90% of it is just some lonely kid's active imagination.

I remember there were a bunch of "leaks" of MGS 4 back in 2008. And one of the truly fantastic ones, centered around a clone of Solid Snake who killed him . I wouldn't worry about this too much. KojiPro would be foolish to not keep a very tight lid on the biggest financial undertaking in their company's history.

UPDATE: Kenichiro Imaizumi, senior producer at Kojima Productions, has confirmed with GameSpot that the leak is false.

Like I expected, after reading the leak, I don’t know how anyone could have believed it was real

Yea, I can't believe people actually thought that it was a decent attempt, half of the stuff shown in the last trailer didn't make it into the script, nothing about the wearing of the ashes of fallen comrades, and nothing on Code Talker, then Chico reunites with Amanda once they arrive back at motherbase, even though it was said she was in Cuba, and that's the last you hear about Chico in the script, African soldier named Voosloo, even though his real name had been confirmed by Kojima already, I can go on for days haha

The prologue and first chapter were the only believable chapters, but everything really after chapter 3 got insane, Big Boss has to run missions to prove himself to Skullface?

I’m glad to know the real script hasn’t leaked, knowing Kojima, he would have probably delayed the game for 4 years so he could write up and new script.

Or, you could wait for a bloviated, eee-yonn-gahhh video where he spends 30 minutes dissecting all the information for no reason at all .

It's a fun read if nothing else, with some theories and conjectures that raise some interesting points. Including: the motivations behind Skull Face's apparent siding with Big Boss at the end; "Ishmael" existing purely as phantom, that was conjured by Psycho Mantis to assist Big Boss in escaping the hospital; and Huey being forced by Cipher to betray Mother Base.

On a side, I actually remember something now. Back in 2008, there was a leak with an upside-down photo of Big Boss in the graveyard that turned out to be true. It's good to take leaks and whatever else with a grain of salt whenever they appear. But, you can never be too careful with information on the net.

Half of that fan fiction crap was compiled from Yongyea's theory videos. Crap attempt!!!!!

The whole Ishmael theory was taken straight from MGSforums and Yongyea (I myself, have been saying thats most likely the case for at least a year now), but basically making Big Boss a GTA character by the end of that game, running missions for everyone, and then killing his own men, just goes against everything the character stands for. The only good parts, were pretty much taken from other theories circling the net for the past year, what a terrible job.
