I'm not that sensitive, so it wouldn't bother me and I'd be aware of the fact that not everyone would like/enjoy my work and that it comes with the territory and paychecks I'd be cashing.

These people you're 'standing up for' have voices and PC's of their own, you're doing them no favors.

These "people" can't stand up for them selves even if they wanted. Having a back and forth as an official of a company could either damage your job or even the license.

And it's not about being sensitive. Plus...I've seen you get pretty sensitive about things on here that about toys.

What do you do for a living? The field I mean. Honest question.

You could have fooled me with how worked up you've been getting about a doll. As far as the people I'm standing up for, I'm one of them, so I don't see how I'm "doing them no favors." And yeah, as designers, we know not everyone is going to like our work. Like you said, that comes with the territory. The difference is that for some of us, it's not just about the paycheck...it's about being proud of the integrity of our work. Not all of us just see dollar signs.

Then they're in the wrong industry if they can't handle criticism. Period.

If I ask you to list the top 5 worst movies you've ever watched, I bet you could think of 5 quick and give me reasons why all 5 are terrible.
And in doing so you'd be insulting all the "designers and other creatives", actors, actresses, stunt doubles, extras, VFX teams, costume designers, directors, and about a zillion other people that worked their tails off for a year or more to bring you that finished product. This whole concept is laughable tbh.

And my business is none of your business.

Yit's about being proud of the integrity of our work. Not all of us just see dollar signs.

So you do all your work for free, right?

I'm not too worried... my MkIII is pretty much going in a statue state or simple pose. I'm just undecided on whether to expose weapons. I'd be curious to do something with the palms exposed too seeing as my 42 has fists and the arm missile..

For what it's worth I think it's awesome that they've found a way to make the ground pound pose achievable in a more seamless way without having to stretch the figures articulation to its limits.

What's funny though is that when I looked through a bunch of iron man threads, IGs, and YouTube videos, I'm not sure if I've even seen anyone actually DISPLAY him in that pose. It just seems like everyone wants him to simply be ABLE to do it lol.

That said, I'd prefer the "ab crunch" feature. Or at the very least, the ability to have trunk rotation where the chest meets the upper abdomen. Just makes poses seem a little more dynamic.

Just my 2 cents as a new comer and observer.

And would you list all of those reasons of why they're terrible with those people in the room?

So you do all your work for free, right?

I'm sorry, I don't recall saying that...oh that's right, it's because I didn't. It's just you putting words in my mouth. Way to over-generalize what I said.

If that's the discussion, then sure.

So you don't care about dollar signs but you don't work for free. Makes perfect sense, except not really.

Here, allow me to quote myself since you seem incapable of doing so:

There's a big difference from saying a movie want very good...to saying it wasn't good becuase the people where lazy layabouts who are dumb money hungry fools. Which is pretty much the things people say about hot toys and HOWARD.

Saying you don't like something is one thing. That's not only acceptable but expected in the entertainment/art/design industry...calling someone names and saying it was all becuase they where lazy, or money hungry or idiots is another. And I see people say those things about hot toys nearly every day.

And I am beyond sure 99% of the people who take that way online would sooner pee themselves then say it in person. So if you want say it in person you shouldn't say it online. And everyone can front and say"oh I'd say it" all they want. If I believe you or not makes no difference. But ask yourself honestly if it's true. Heck most of these people would sooner ask for an autograph.

Critique on something is different and seperate from conduct. Maybe I was raised weird or am odd. But someone who knows nothing about me or the process randomly walking up and calling me money hungry or lazy ain't sitting well. And that is what a post on here is equal to.

People come after me for my "tone" all the time. But it's okay to say you got "*****" by hot toys, or they where lazy, or incompetent becuase they did something you wouldn't..

I also like the way if it's said in a meme or gif it don't count to. Posting a pulp fiction gif where Sam Jackson curses someone out as your response to something is NO different then that person saying exactly that. It's the current flipping the bird. And I've seen a guy beat down for flipping the bird to the wrong person.

Fixed-

It makes perfect sense to me. Earning a wage is secondary to a lot of people. I don't work for free but I also don't place an emphasis on money.

I'd say I'm about 65% positive on canceling this guy now . My Mark 6 will continue to be my reference Iron Man display Piece . Really sad for me because this will probably be the last chance to get this mark 3 . I don't know . Maybe some more videos .

That's the Internet and forums/social networking in general though. When people don't think something is up to standard that they've paid money for, the lazy card comes out..

An example I've had 'arguments' over... the pstrophies.com forums are populated mainly by people whose sole focus when playing games is unlocking trophies. A lot of them don't care for the game they are playingat all. So when Square released a High Definition Remaster port of Final Fantasy X on PS3, Vita, and then later PS4, but shared one trophy list across all three... with the ability to carry your game saves across all 3 via the cloud, trophy gamers blasted them for being lazy. Lazy had nothing to do with it. Square wanted a polished (100 hour+) game that could be transferred across every modern Playstation system. It made sense to have just one trophy list...
