As much as I want a Mark III, a Mark III with BD to be exact, I am starting to get the feeling that ship has sailed. Meaning after getting the super awesome BD Mark VI, the Mark VII with the laughable BD and the Mark XXXIII with even more laughable BD (okay the XXXIII really only got one big BD, so it's not HT's fault.) I really have not much interest in going back to get the Mark III, with or without BD. I think it's the Iron Man fatigue (also known as metal fatigue) getting to me...

wasnt it just the ex marty that sold out..?

Yeah, it was. Not to sound like a hypocrite, because I did order one, but I don't know why so many people went nuts over the exclusive, especially if it's the same guitar that came with The Crow. If it winds up being the guitar from the beginning of the movie, however....

When it comes to the hearts and minds of the fans, HT Mark III > HT Mark XLII.

But when it comes to articulation, it's the other way around. Unfortunately, you have to handle the figure with the care of a bomb disposal technician.

Pre-ordered from BBTS. The suit's too iconic not to. Now I'll have this one and Silver Centurion.

But my one inflexible, written in stone rule on Iron Man armors is that they must look like a guy can fit in the suit. The Silver Centurion pulls it off. I'm not sure on this one yet, but I have plenty of time to cancel the pre-order if it comes to that.

While many of you seem to be weary from Iron Man fatigue, this is my first (and hopefully only) IM figure I've ever wanted.

Just preordered from Sideshow.
Glad that's done.... now to wait almost another year...

I think the different armors are cool and have a few I'd like to get that I don't have on order (including this one) but I really don't feel the need to collect a ton of them.

This will be my first ironman figure. Second, if IP counts! The only other IM I'll be buying after this is the Hulkbuster if it's not overly prize.

Imagine how big the Hulkbuster will be. Bigger than the Hulk judging by the concept art. Probably 20 inches tall if they make it true 1/6 scale. I'd say $550-600 easy.

Then that will be a pass to me...Who am I kidding, I'll be one of the first to PO it!

I can definitely see the first seven Mark armors in diecast. I also think Hot Toys will do, or at least try to do, all of the House Party Protocol armors, but all of those will likely be in plastic.

I can see Mark 43 in diecast, as well as select armors in the future. Hulkbuster will almost assuredly be in plastic, probably at $625 to $650. A $750 to $800 diecast version would be pure insanity.
The only other diecast suit I can see is II, since it's a repaint with rivets. VI and IV maybe, but both have been re-released (gantry and Avengers promo). V, I doubt. VII is solid as plastic, though I'll get a diecast if they fix the helmet.

Not sure how many more we'll get. I'm honesty not a fan. I feel sales for the line may be slower than anticipated. The price point is extremely brutal, even for a diehard fan like me. All 7 in diecast would cost over $2k.

Is there something you're not telling us? Do you also have a drinking problem, a fondness for beautiful women and a Hall of Armor in your cellar?

Im sorry, you can say that this is your first but i cant say this is my eleventh? Thats doesnt seem right :dunno
