oh thanks for the offer :)
My first fabric related DIY anything... I am just used to using power tools and not be so hands on :lol

Looking really good Biojex! I'm thinking about getting a second pair and trying the bleach method and seeing which ends up looking better. Did you put the pants in the solution dry or did you get them wet first?

eh yes Geil, what do you... Can not be good for everything!
... The perfect man is a chimera but that should continue to be maintained (if not, it's done!)
... As for the perfect bear, still looking but no one believes! :D

Anyway, great improvement friends! :clap

OK my firstfabric related hands on mod.....
I put it in the recommended mix with the bleach I had for 1min.. NOTHNG!!
I then proceed to go full concentration 1min.... STILL NOTHING???? WTF I was afraid of the exact opposite!
I chek the jug of bleach and turns out it was color safe bleach!!!! :lol man who would have thought...... anywyas went out and found some bleach without the color safe "feature" and yeah it turns color pretty much each time you lift it out of the mix and back in! I seriousely thing this orange is the original fabrics color!
Thanks for the tips freaks this was indeed easy and I suspect even if you leave it oni longer it won't change color much more.. pics to come when my pants dry up :D

Just a preliminary shot before I go into full photography mode. Just wanted to show how well the pants came out (you can sorta see the toothpick I added too :D).

Wierd Geil...all my burns stayed. How long did you hold it in for?

Not sure how long as I lost count when I saw the results :D
Well compared to my original shot the burns weren't as black to begin with. Maybe my color safe bleaching took out a bit more of the burn :p
Ohh your orange is really nice and sharp! Did you adjust the colors or maybe the picture with daylight just gets better results

:lol no I didn't adjust the colors. That's how mine came out. I think the daylight prob helps but The second pic actually got washed out a bit. If you look at the top picture (or the darker parts on the second pic) that's how it looks just sitting here on my desk and for the most part out of natural light as well.

I'll take a pic with flash to see how it comes out.

with the flash a bit less redish but still nice orange :D ok for anyone else to follow better stay try to bleach for less time ;)

That orange pretty much turned out perfect, huh? So is Whiplash supposed to have those skeletal limbs for his legs, too? I see something peaking out of the holes in the knees. That makes the scene in the movie, where he kept getting slammed on the wall by a car, make more sense. Since those braces would act as some sort of protection. Seriously, that part bothered me so much since it was too unbelievable that he didn't have jelly for legs after that scene.

Looks pretty damn good. I think when I get mine Im going to darken up the leather on the harness. Seems a little to light compare to the pics I've seen.
