I think they only sent mint ones to the deserving.. Thats why I got sent one in pristine condition.. And Eli's will arrive scuffed and broken..

I've decided that I will sell mine. If it's flawed like 80% of the others (most likely), I'll let it go for cost + shipping (probably around $350 total). If it's mint, well, we'll see....

Well, mine comes tomorrow. I'll be praying I am one of the lucky ones that get it in mint condition, but I know it's a long shot.

Because there is no way I would be careless enough to just repack it the same way Sideshow did. I'd use lots of foam padding to ensure non-scuffing.

He would probably ask you to give him a discount when he gets it if thier is a problem so he could get it at a cheaper price. Maybe thats his plan. He's probably thinking "I could just fix it and get it cheap". I would check it any ways and let him know if thier is a problem.

I have our trail of PM's about this issue and will be insuring for the full amount so I'm covered either way.

At this point it looks like most of them have minor scratches. Maybe it's not a big deal to some.

Yeah I would cover your butt big time. If you have done so than I don't see the problem. If push comes to shove you sent him a warning and he didn't listen. I am sure PayPal or Ebay would side with you.

I had received my flawed SIM on Saturday, was planning on initiating a return/replacement. Just got off the phone with CS. I tried earlier this morning, but I think they are receivng more calls than typical. I asked how they were planning on handling the situation. The CS I spoke to early this morning said "Sideshow will make it right." Exact words.

I tried again just now and got through to the person handling my claim. She said she was setting up the replacement, but they need to work a few details first, and she would get back to me with further details. I'm assuming this is because they are looking at preventative measures, possibly better packaging, etc. but that's just speculation at this point.
