After reading the entire article @ the Marvel / 3A team up, it says we'll see these this year.

Can anyone comment on their ordering process? Timing? Shipping?

Traditionally, the way it works is ThreeA or Ash will announce the sale USUALLY a week or so out. It'll be posted on their blog, various toy sites (mine included) and probably all around here. Come that sale day, you'll have 24 hours to preorder one.

Once locked down, you can expect about 5-6 months wait. Sometimes they surprise you and stuff comes a little quicker, other times it might take even longer. It sucks for your first 3A figure.. because you feel like you're waiting an eternity for it to arrive, but once you get a few under your belt, you start getting what feels a bit like monthly "gifts" delivered, which is always cool.

I imagine, 3A will handle the Marvel license a lot like they have their other licensed stuff and release a "bambaland exclusive" variant and then a standard release of each figure. The standard will most likely be available after the bambaland sale at all your fav. online retailers, though for more and with shipping generally NOT included at that point.

Hope that helps!

I'm itching to see what Doom looks like!
As someone that will probably never have the PF and who like's 3A stuff this is a perfect alternative for me. I just hope the PO is not for a few months yet so I have the scratch for it.

The other point to mention with the above is you pay up front at time of pre-order on Bambaland which is why people sometimes like to order through retailers as they then have more time to gather funds before paying at dispatch but as mentioned generally more expensive and doesn't include shipping. :peace

License stuff I would say is taking longer mind, assume 9 months from order.

I don't own any 3A figures but I do admire them from afar, the quality seems great and the weathering and distressing is amazing. Ashley Woods style is very cool in his WWR series, I personally am extremely excited for these! If they are what I imagine they will be than I'm on board for all of them and look forward to seeing the first figure! Between these and the Sideshow DC series i think we are in for a great run of figures. More 1/6 options is never a bad thing!

This has some of the greatesr otential by judging from the amount of characters they said they would cover.

But, I'll hold judgment until I see the product and more important the PRICE!

Guys! The first teaser pic is up!*

Don't like it don't buy it.

Complaining that it shouldn't be what it is obviously will is beyond stupid.
Don't like people's posts then you should put them on ignore.

Telling people what they should or shouldn't complain about is beyond stupid.

I dare you to find a post in the last year where i complained about batman or iron man.

Are you HONESTLY saying that you have never or don't post complaining about how many Batman and Iron Man figures HT makes in comparison to what you prefer?

Like i said check my posts for the last year or so and you'll find your answer :peace

All i'm sayin' is being pissed that ThreeA figures look like ThreeA figures and not something else is beyond stupid

I have no interest in searching your posts. Why can't you answer the question yourself? You and I and I'm sure many other know you do or at least used to. I admire you if you have chosen to stop, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened in the past.

Personally, I don't care. But its a bit hyocritical to tell others not to complain when you do or use to all the time!

And actually, my post about these being an easy pass is NOT me being pissed. It honestly makes me happy.

I used to complain about a brands figure choices, never about the figures themselves. That is very different from complaining that ThreeA figures shouldn't look like ThreeA figures.
