I can't display it yet so I don't mind the wait but it does suck this isn't shipping sooner especially seeing people with it in hand. I'll wait 2 months after blogger pics that's no problem but 12 months?? It's just plain unfair. I guess I have to live in HK to enjoy figures when they release

There’s a lack of headsculpts for all other lines too, from Marvel Legends to SHF, so it’s definitely gotta be a holdup with Ryan.

Which is a shame, as I agree the price is pretty high for a figure that doesn’t have an actor likeness attached. They give you plenty of goodies to compensate, but it’s a shame folks need to resort to third-party or printing their own for such a high-end figure, especially with two prior versions lacking an unmasked sculpt.

Still, I doubt this will lessen demand significantly.

Ordered the special

Trying to decide if the gold guns and base are really worth more to get it from Sideshow or if I’m content with getting the standard elsewhere. Kind of leaning towards the latter option.

I can actually get it for under retail at my normal website (Collectorzown). It would be $284.99 all in. Might just go that route.

Looks like a fun release but Imma pass,as I like the look of the DP 2 suit more AND I still have the DP 1 release. Looking forward to other figures from the movie tho.

If you haven't seen the movie yet, the guns aren't really pivotal. They are just something he really wants that another Deadpool has and they look really cool.

Unless they are something you really want that you love, and if the price is a lot higher, I would stick with the regular version.

Yeah, I saw the movie. The guns aren’t necessary but I just like to have all the accessories if possible. The price difference doesn’t really warrant having them though.

Also the Katanas are plastic. $315.

Here’s a tip for the RSVP…if it’s not an Artisan piece…don’t panic to preorder fellow freaks…If you rush and try to order on when you get the RSVP notice it crashes the website of SS.

It’s so easy to preorder the SE DP right now…I didn’t have to go through the crap I went through yesterday. I think the Artisan Widow is the only one we need to worry about not securing and maybe Grevious …maybe.

I think people expected the Special Edition to be limited, probably because it was limited in Asia.

Meh.. I’m not always of the mindset that diecast for things like weapons equates to better. Sure the price is high but that’s across the board with sixth scale in general.

Yeah, but when you have 2 Deadpool figures already with diecast weapons then it becomes an expectation. Higher price, lower quality.

I guess. They’re also throwing in some more accessories though with Dogpool, Headpool, and Baby Deadpool though. Plus the rest of the accessories.

Probably more irritating to me is the gold guns being an exclusive. I don’t really want to play the game with Sideshow but part of me wouldn’t mind having them (essential accessories or not).
