Does anyone know if this body will fit the Black Widow HS from Iron Man 2? And what about the flesh/skin tones matching? Thanks in advance...

Mine charges tomorrow. While she will round out the SHIELD display, she's also not what I would consider necessary. I'm very torn on keeping her. I already lost one $34 NRD this month... Only one I've ever taken the hit on... Considering dropping the $22 on this one too. She should be easy to find later and hell, perhaps even on the cheap.
Hot Toys are very weird lately. Most things aren't selling out and are dropping in value, particularly "exclusives", but then you have a normal release Chewbacca selling out/waitlisting and rising before they've even all shipped from sideshow.

It's hype. I have to assume Chewbacca is selling out because SW is huge and this movie seems to deliver the goods. No one really knows what will sell out or not. Buy what you love and what will make you happy every time you see it on your self. Only worry about market value if or when you choose to sell it.

Just called sideshow and was granted an early processing for this figure.. 
My last flexpay is on the 5th - I haven't heard anything about it, delayed or otherwise, so I'm just going to leave it as-is. No point rushing over a couple days' time.
Besides, I have my way-too-late-birthday present coming on Friday, my Microsoft Surface Pro 4, so I think I can stand to wait a few days (Sorry, just excited!)

I do. I never intended to buy Maria Hill for the value. It's a matter of whether or not I absolutely need her in my collection. Honestly the answer is no and the fact that recent history tells us this figure is likely to be cheaper later makes cancelling seem not only more viable, but prudent.
As for Chewbacca I'm just surprised. And annoyed. Because I didn't order and he is one I need in my collection. Hoping to trade for one or get one from the waitlist.

I have been waiting for Miss Hill since 2013 when I thought she would be the con exclusive that year. Then word came from Howard himself that HT has no plans for her! I was devastated!...So, I am super excited to be finally able get her this year! I think I will try to call her in early if I have time!

My last flex pay shows as being marked on the 5th as well. Certainly hope that stands and it doesn't get delayed further at the last minute.

I was able to extend my flex pay to 3 payments, dec, jan and feb 15. I don't need her soon so that helps.

I don't even think the Chewie likeness is all that great but I'm obviously in a tiny minority. I suspect that Chewie being a pretty unique figure - it's not sculpted but instead covered from head to toe in faux fur - makes him appealing to a lot of collectors.

I thought Chewie looked bad. I'll wait for the ROTJ version and hope they do a better job on the face by then.
While it's true this may end up cheaper down the line I wouldn't take the risk. What if for some this figure does run out of stock? Also cancelling wouldn't be an option, I'd lose the $20 deposit. Fortunately I got $20 off when I ordered back in July.

So far I'm disappointed with the HT SW line with the exception of the Sand, Space, and Storm troopers. I think I could have gotten chewy if Han turned out half way decent, but he was awful IMO.
