46 connects everything together while maintaining the Iron Man rigidity. 45 in comparison is too fluid. Not saying 45 is ugly.

Iron man was never about hard lines. The first four suits used where all full of rounded shapes and smooth lines. (Mk1,2,3 and iron monger)

Uurrgghhh! I hate this paint job, the gold looks great but the red looks cheap and the silver is too light. I prefer the proto when it was at Secret Base and the conventions.

This will be my new phone wallpaper :clap :drool

I know some will disagree with me, but I just prefer the Mark 45 over the Mark 46. I prefer the organic muscular shape of the Mark 45. The only advantage I see in the Mark 46 is the bleeding edge type lighting on it, but this Mark 45 looks closer to the bleeding edge style I love.
I have the 1/4 scale Mark 45 on PO, and if the 1/6 scale looks this good I think I am going to piss myself when I get the 1/4 scale in hand.

The 1/4 45 is going to be something special. Holding outfit final pics to order that. As cool as the 1/6 is, I need that 1/4 fix.

You really should be careful posting pictures of the 1/4 bad boy! This armour looks amazing in which ever scale, after seeing pictures of the 1/4 scale Mk43 the 45 is so so tempting!

I understand what you mean about your preference for the 45 over the 46, I really like both of them and though right now I think the 46 pips its younger sibling by a couple of points (which may just be because its the shiny new model) design wise the differences on each are what makes me like them (I like both the darker colour and more angled lines of the 46 as well as the brighter, curvier 45... its odd).

Figure wise the 46 beats the 45 for me because of the headsculpt but thats nothing against the figure itself and for me not a reason to just want the 46 over the 45.

I suppose that depends on your budget. The wife would kill me if I got both.

You could get the 45 now since the 46 is a year a way. Then buy the 46 when it comes out. Sit back and observe her reaction.

If she looks upset, act like you don't realize it and sell your 45. Then tell her it was always your intention to sell it because having 2 figures of the same person is ridiculous!

If she looks cool with having the 45 and 46, you've won!

You could always have so many to the point where nobody even realizes it anymore when you get a new figure in. :lol

Provided it's not a larger figure that towers over the others, such as Hulk or Ultron.

This is the method that I use, but I'm also single. When someone tells me that having 109 HT figures is too many, I just ignore them.

THIS

:lol family member that get on my case to save money, I tell them I am and they just can't tell that the collection keeps growing.

Great Shot Motuxmen, it's hard to tell from the newer shots but the battle damage looks seriously toned down from the proto. How does it look in the flesh?
