You say that now but we have to remember that Hot Toys do love their Iron Man figures... Combine that with the fact they just released the new shiny Civil War version for pre-order and they will want to convert as many people who are on the fence to buy this one instead of deciding to pass and wait for next years edition.

That said yeh it could be Superman.

Yeah cost of living is first. Remember this is just a hobby and any hobby should be only done in spare time.

And SS is right. Be comfortable with you're interest and what you do, here and in life. Just be comfortable doing stuff for you and don't need to hide it.

We can afford to buy more than I do. The wife supports the hobby. Enough that she pretends to care when I talk about it. However, she is a money saver and sees them as things we don't actually need. I get a look every time I tell her I'm buying a new Hot Toy. I feel the same way about treating myself, but there are items I don't buy because if I get too much at one time, I will hear about it.

They don't release figures apart from one another to show that they have different licences. Mark 45 is next.

I don't think that they would do that to "show" that they've got differents licences but to give people who are interested in a licence to find the money to pay the next one [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. I really hope 45 is next....

As much as I want to add this figure to my AoU collection, I was actually hoping that Supes would be next. Not gonna lie.

More excited for this than Supes, personally. The 45 is very different to my other sixth scale Iron Men, whereas Supes is just a new and improved version of a figure I already have. Still looking forward to him though.

I love my Figuarts 45 and it's done a good job of keeping me going until now, but I really can't wait for the real thing

What he's saying is still the case with this situation. They release figures when they are ready, regardless of if its the same or a different license as the last or next figure. They have given people over a year to get the funds, and the way hot toys are sold the company has already been paid for the figures anyway. The distrubutors, retailers and people who PO at secret base and toy sapien have already paid in full, or committed to paying so your theory wouldn't make any difference
