So it's not just me, right? I mean how does a laughing smile face completely change the meaning of what he typed?

I'm not sure what the "official rules" for conveying emotion through digital communication are, but I was under the impression that "lol" or a laughing emoticon simply conveyed humor. Not by default mean that whatever you just said was moot. :dunno

Obviously all CAPS generally indicate shouting or yelling, that I can glean also.

Personally, if I said something in jest and I wasn't certain the person would know that I was merely jesting, I would actually say that I was and then follow that up with a ":lol".

I lol emote more than anything to convey I'm being light hearted, rather than I think I'm being funny, or are trying to be.. If it was a genuine laugh out loud conversation I'd be going with the rofl...

I don't think that they would do that to "show" that they've got differents licences but to give people who are interested in a licence to find the money to pay the next one [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. I really hope 45 is next....

Ok, I must reply to myself to give the oppurtunity to read again my statament ; I think it is clearly obvious that I was half serious about "find the money to pay the next one" and the emoji should have explain that. If not I'm sorry.
In fact I told him he was right in his answer to me....
Someone here (maybe me) is not "digital" enough.

this guy and ultron are gonna pull a devastating tag team finisher on my wallet very soon

I kinda like the battle worn look. I wouldn't mind just a touch of it in the final production figure.

I have two sixth scale Iron Man figures, and they are both posed accordingly to their look. Mark III diecast is a red suit. A very clean candy apple looking suit with a HoA style base. Mark 43 is battle worn with a diorama base, so he is posed in action with the face shield lifted up.

I like the worn look, but I'm not really a fan of the full battle damage look, like they did with one or two of the many Mark VI/VIIs.

My quarter scale sets the bench mark for battle worn. I have the head sculpt on with the helmet at the base. A very simple pose. But that's mainly because the base is awkward to do anything too complex, and I don't want to play with him too much at this point.

^^Oh god, I can relate. I'm afraid of scratching the paint or ruining its joints—but the figure is so darn fun to play with :gah:

Production Mark 45 on display. Sculpt change on the ab and the coloring throughout has changed a bit as well.

Originally I preferred this (45) to the MK XLVI (46), but the more I see of the 46 I'm starting to warm up to it more. Especially with all the LED's, the Stark head and the fact it cost's $10 less. I'm not sure if I'm liking the redone (?) hip section. It looks odd now that the AB plates go all the way down the crotch versus a panties look. The original photos don't have that.. Although the arms do look better as the original proto pictures they looked short and made the torso look odd. Still really looking forward to photos of this guy in hand and compared with other armors.

Mk45 is XLV not XVI...

He's saying that he once liked this (the 45) more than the 46 but the more he sees the 46 he is liking that one more.
