Alrighty. You said he wrote 46 twice, was trying to help because that was his intention. No biggie.

Anyhoo... Maybe I've been spoiled by the 1/4 43 but I think I'm going to go with the 1/4 45 to put next to it. This looks cool but something isn't clicking for me. I'll probably get that 1/6 46 though, since I'm having trouble resisting anything in the CW line.

So it's not just me, right? I mean how does a laughing smile face completely change the meaning of what he typed?

i assumed it was pretty common from my experience.. it doesn't really have much to do with the "digital generation".. i just think you constantly look for things to correct people on that something like this might escape you.

well since it wasn't me that said it was "the digital" generation maybe you should talk trash about the person that actually said that. Or is it not ok to point out you are calling me out for agreeing with what SOMEONE else said? :lol

I don't think that they would do that to "show" that they've got differents licences but to give people who are interested in a licence to find the money to pay the next one [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]. I really hope 45 is next....

After Ultron, I'm afraid we'll get Superman first.... Just to give a licence change....[emoji29][emoji29][emoji29]

This what he said. The stupid emojis don't mean he did not say it. The second response was when someone else (meaning not me) said they don't do what he said in the first post. The first post had a "worried" face. Does that also mean he didn't mean what he said?

He said the same thing twice and tried to worm out of it by sayi "oh I was just kidding".

That would be tremendously hard to resist but I think I'd just stick with the 1/6 46 so I can have him on a shelf with other members of team Iron Man.

1/4 figures do look nice, but I would hate to start going down that route, I can almost get 2 figures for the price of one 1/4th

did i say that you said that?.. no i didn't.. i was making a general comment before i pointed out why you didn't understand.

if i corrected every single one of your word use errors.. it'd probably get pretty annoying, don't you think?

edit.. it's not just that you're always correcting people, it's the way you go about doing it.

True. I'm lucky my gf has given me a Sideshow gift card for Xmas and then one for my birthday, so I felt more comfortable pulling the trigger on the 43 ha

i wouldn't mind owning one 1/4 scale figure as a centerpiece. but i couldn't see myself collecting more than one.

if i did get just one, i think i'd wait for infinity wars part 2.. or whenever they make a final battle iron man armor, whether it's infinity wars 1 or 2.. or maybe even sooner (hopefully not, hopefully tony lives until the end of this phase at least).

Love my 1/4 43 but I definitely don't need another quarter scale. Will stick to sixth for the 45.

You're stronger than I am. I think part of it is that I have the Stark sculpt on my 43 and would like to have an armor with a helmet on next to it ha but damn that 45 looks sick

Haha. I actually hardly use the head sculpt, but then I'm more of 'fully suited' guy. The 1/4 45 looks pretty good and looks like it has some neat features, but I'll be happy with the sixth I think. It'll be when the production photos of the quarter scale are released where the struggle starts :lol

I dropped hints to my wife and sisters to get me a sideshow gift card for birthday or Christmas but was unsuccessful.:slap

That's funny because that's exactly what happened to me with my fiancee. As long as she's known me (8 years) I've been into sports, working out, and shoes. So when I told her I wanted to start collecting figures and wanted a SS gift card for my bday she totally blew me off and wouldn't take me seriously even after listing at as #1 on my list and dropping numerous hints :lol

Or maybe that's a hint to me to NOT collect toys..... hmmm lol

It's funny that sometimes despite you telling people what you want because that's what YOU will like, they still shop for you based on what THEY think you will/want you to like, as if they're choosing the gift for themselves and not you. :lol

:rotfl Yeah she bought me my first HT (DK batman) she regrets it now. lol

Exactly! I guess I can't blame her though. We're pretty similar in our "likes" so it's always relatively easy to shop for each other and we get just as excited to give as get. When I told her about these toys she said, "so what do you do with them? You just like, look at them?" Me: "um... kind of? But they're like, art.... Yeah they're art!" :rotfl :rotfl

:lol yeah this is definitely not a cheap hobby and not one that many can appreciate
