Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

Believe me when I say that I hope you are correct and I'm wide of the mark, however this appears to have way more detail and articulation than what I've seen in the past, and that makes me think $1000+.

The Mark XXXVIII Igor Heavy lifting Iron Man (that i hope arrives next month!) which retails for $510 plus tax looks like it came free with a McDonald's Happy Meal in comparison. Crossing my fingers that your estimate is closer to the reality.:)

Well I wouldn't go that far for not making Igor comparable.:lol Igor will be a very nice armor to own. If anything it is going to make us appreciate how damn big hulkbuster is once we get it in hand. Would love a shot of igor and hulkbuster side by side.

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

We know Hulk fights Hulkbuster in the movie.
I think if Hulkbuster gets pummeled we could get a Heavily Battle Damaged Hulkbuster version too.
It's a safe bet Hot Toys will wanna Milk this for All it's worth!

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I cannot see two HB releases. I think to your point is why the HB suit looks like it has been through some **** already to establish Hulk has tossed it around by the time we get it in our hands.

I want any and All Hulkbusters!!
How about Different Color Hulkbusters??

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I'll be happy with just the one, not really got anywhere to put it just yet though as all my display areas are for 12"-14" 1:6 scale really, although I do have several shelves for 1:5 scale too BUT nothing with 22" of height going spare. lol ;)

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I hope he's under $700 but I think it will be $749.99+.

If it shows up at that price I'll be as happy as a pig in you know what lol! I've bought all of the non battle damaged 1/6 HT's from Iron Man 3 so far plus War Machine Mark II and Iron Patriot 1/6 and SS 1/4, a power pose HT Mark 42 and SS 1/4 scale Mark 42 etc. 17 pieces so far and I just know they are going to add Disco, Tank, Blue Steel 1/6 IM's. With IM 3 HT's they bypassed milk and went straight for cheese haha.

I thought I read somewhere that only 10 IM suits were fully realized for the house party protocol, (not counting War Machine II and Iron Patriot) so perhaps Tank, Disco and Blue steel will remain Busts. I hope so!

They will probably just add some BD parts like MK42, MK7, etc. I'm looking forward to seeing the size of the box this will come in

I just expect HB to be standing at my door like a small child on Halloween when I go to the door. :lol

Me too! One is more than enough, and I have no clue where the heck I'm going display it anyhow. Gonna need a bigger house lol!

Yeah, a bigger house is definitely needed. lol ;) At the moment I'm just planning on standing this on the floor by my shelves & units but maybe by the time it's released I'll have found a proper home for it..., I doubt it but you never know. :)

Re: 1/6 Hot Toys - MMS - Avengers: AOU - Hulkbuster

I do think that this figure will be well below $800. Even though it's massive, it just does not have as many mechanics showing unlike the Iron Monger. Compared to the IronMonger's arms, which has pistons when the elbow is bending and a lot of moving parts; this figure just looks like a bunch of massive pieces of plastic parts. I am willing to bet that this will be severely limited in articulation. It's suspicious that they did not show an open cockpit.

Probably because they decided not to make it with an open cockpit perhaps? At least not on the prototype anyway..., personally I don't want the open cockpit as I'll display it as we see it. :)

I thought I read that the fingers and toes all articulate. Perhaps I read it wrong. I'd be surprised if the head doesn't open up to reveal a Mark XLIII inside, well at least the face mask.

I'd be okay with less articulation if that keeps the cost down as it looks great as it is without multiple poses.

They always make the hands with articulating fingers, it's the norm. :) As for the toes??? What toes? lol ;) The boots will probably have moveable parts though I'd have thought, all the other Iron Man figures do anyway. :)
