Man I really wanted this figure but after seeing all the in-hand shots I just don't think I can justify putting a bloody Tony Stark in with the rest of my collection. Like the BD Mark VII makes sense but this just looks like he got mugged and I want to display that? Weird lol.
So how many of the chest reactors are comming in broken? And how to turn it on? (where is the switch and where is the plastic thingy that needs to be removed?)
I'd like to know this so I can test if mine works the little time I have to inspect the figure at my local store.
Hey Joe. Both my workshop Tony and Mechanic have really stiff elbow joints. I just worked them back and forth a few times to loosen them up and now they pose a lot easier. Hope that helps.
Great review BTW.
Still can't get his right arm to bend at the elbow. Even the replacement they sent me isn't working.
Have you tried warming it up? Using a hair dryer on it for 30-60 seconds worked for me on this figure and many, many others in the past whether it be tight joints, or heads/necks/foot pegs that wouldn't come off.
Yup, just tried it again. Used a hair dryer for about 1:30 and no luck. I also tried running it under hot water, still no luck. Should I tell them to send another replacement?
Wow, that's quite a pickle! How much force would you say you're using to get it to budge from it's initial 'stuck' position?
That's unfortunate. Maybe try leaving just the stuck part submerged in warm/hot water for awhile as a last resort?Quite a bit. Just enough to where it won't snap in half.

Do you guys think this figure is worth keeping or should I wait for another Stark figure to come out?
