Weirdly, the more I look at this the less I like it. Something about the amount of skin showing is just a bit off-putting. My wife and I were at the mall the other day, and she tried on a dress for an upcoming wedding that she decided not to buy because the leg slit went up too high for her and she felt it was inappropriate for a wedding. That’s all I can think about looking at this figure

Plus, the sculpt/paint always turns out noticeably softer when Hot Toys does battle damage sections. Unless it’s the BD Robocop figure.

I think this is a really cool concept figure for Vader, and clearly a bit of a passion project.

For me though this is a little too much battle-damage, I prefer just the glimpse of humanity and hatred we get from Vader's eye in the OWK broken helmet figure - for me that level of battle-damage added to his sinister aura, whereas in my view this much damage draws away from it.

- the cape in the shape of his mask is ******* awesome though, is it sculpted that way?

I am unsure as well. This is what I wanted from the OWK Vader, and I have the ROTJ Vader almost paid off, no way I am keeping all 3...

I already have 2 Vader Statues (Mythos and Iron Studio first 1/4) and only need 2 1/6 Vaders. Leaning towards having the OWK Vader be the normal Vader and pick this one up.

I was holding off getting any Vaders from HT until they did TFU Vader. Was tempted by Kenobi version but this is basically the TFU Vader with some creative liberties/inaccuracies. This is prob the one I will get as now HT will not do an accurate TFU version since this is the second battle damaged Vader already. Just gotta figure out how to afford it along with all the other figures I want and can't yet afford....

I'll have my Rogue One Vader, Kenobi partially damaged Vader and then this Vader

Then normal Anakin, Clone Wars Anakin and padawan Anakin

I got so many ikea shelves, can't fit any more. Need to win the lottery or something so I can buy a huge house for my collection and all the future collectibles I can't afford.

I wish the helmet damage was flipped on this one.

1) It would make it look different from the OWK version
2) It could be used as a Rebels version on another Vader figure.

The damage is already close to the right shape, I would agree it should be flipped. Feels like less of a retread as well.
