You guys recommend alter ego? never ordered anything other than from sideshow. and $188 sounds better than $209

Thumbs up to Alter Ego. Marc is a good guy and posts on this forum.

:exactly: :goodpost:

Also, they have a reward system like SS and their prices (that I've seen) are ALWAYS cheaper than anyone else for current products. I don't shop everywhere, but typically I look at the heavy hitters and haven't found them beat yet on the items I've purchased over the last year or so.

The one thing you do have to keep in mind is they are about 2 to 3 weeks later on getting their collectibles shipped out. They seem to take longer getting their stock.

Worth the wait IMO...hard to wait...but worth it.

Lame. Thats typical. People abuse it and the people who fulfill suffer.

Would sending a requested petition or email to SS customer support to match the price help at all? Im locked in with SS, didnt see the alternative option prior to placing my order. Sigh.

I agree....there's no reason there should be a deposit....it's not like they won't sell out...

I would agree, the hot toys stuff for the most part almost always sells out eventually. Deposit should be items that run the risk of not selling out.

I mean, maybe the tron figs, barney ross, or even the video game figs but iconic figs like Iron Man?

What I do like about sideshow is their customer care, the few issues i've had they resolved right away.

Just the morons. Got to love the people. What was once good turns to bad. ;)

Well, sometimes folks cancel cause they have to. I did that with an item the other day. I meant more I can't blame Sideshow if they're seeing a consistent rise in order cancellations.

Quite a number use to brag on here about cancelations. Soon as the notice came in there were a lot canceling. As if you got some reward for it. Perhaps this is why toys2 has cancelation fees.

I think you're correct there my good sir. I can remember when it was really rare that stores had NRD. Now, its more and more common stores going to these.
