Got my shipping notice today,so the set SHOULD be here by next Fri. The only problem will be that Sideshow ships via UPS,which is a problem for us sometimes as we both work and therefore aren't home before 3:30 to sign for things.When it DOES arrive I expect I'll be futsing at the computer so I have all these tips close at hand...PS

I always use will call and have it picked up at the nearest UPS station. My wife and I are also not home during the week when UPS is delivering so it's always easier just to pick it up after work.

I always leave a signed note on the delivery info that it's ok to leave. Never had a problem yet, but that's assuming you're in an area where you're sure nobody would steal it

One phone call is usually enough to make sure you get your package hand-delivered to you.

You just have to call your boss, not UPS. "Hi Jim, so I was at the airport last night and came in contact with a flight in from [fill-in-the-blank] and may have contracted ebola - I just wanted to check if it's ok that I take the day off to go in for some blood work my family doctor highly recommended."

i used to have the same issue, then i just decide to set up a UPS MY CHOICE account , takes 2 seconds there is no fees for it, and i have them ship it to a UPS store close to my place they even close late about 8pm or 9pm cant recall, when im off work i pick it up there in and out in 2min as well.

2 weeks ago i had to stay late at work, sent the girlfriend over to the ups store and she picked up COMMANDO for me all she needed was her ID and the tracking number.

I got my set from BigBadToystore, they said they ship out 2 weeks after sideshow starts shipping , but hey , no Tax and way cheaper shipping, they have not charged my card yet for it, i hope its that way when i do get billed and it ships , its my first purchase with BBTS so lets see how it goes

Finally called it a day and just opened it up, pretty cool. Had no big expectations and im not that critical so I knew I was going to like it no matter what. Took a couple of pics of chewy in particular without "futzing" straight out the box. I heard someone talking about 2 versions out there dont know if its true but heres the pics.

Just fill out the "no signature required " form on the Sideshow site. I did that about 4 years ago.
