Just got mine in and started on him. Still a long ways to go but loving this figure so much. :)

So obviously you've spent time brushing......have you done the coloring thing too? I keep reading this pastel chalk mentioned. The fur color was a big concern on this figure for me. Y'all have got him looking so good :hi5:

Yes I bought the recommended tamiya weathering master kit and used the 'burnt red' to lighten and a little 'oil stain' to frame the brows. :duff
 
Finally got mine out of the box and futzed him for half an hour. This guy is going to look great once I've finished with him.

I just used a sort of burnt sienna color that was a match for the lighter hair, and rubbed it over the darker hair with my finger (after first loosening the hair around the face as much as possible). It's just a dusty chalk pastel, so pretty easy to rub back out again if you're not happy with it.

Gave it ago, slowly getting there... Thanks again for the advice
