I will say that with how hard fur is, and mass produced, I don't think there is anyone other than HT that can pull this off. And with Han, I recall Bespin Luke having some pretty awful pics and he looked off; final result was pretty fantastic, imo. I am not worried.....mostly

Luke , in hand looks much better than it ever came across in photos. I'm not worried either.

So I pre ordered the combo of Chewie and Han on Sideshow's website. I didn't see anywhere if it was the exclusive or not. I didn't see any other versions of them either. Does that mean I ordered the exclusive? This is the first I've ordered a figure from Sideshow directly so I am new to the way their website works. I did notice that some figures have an exclusive and regular version but again, I didn't see it with the combo for Chewie and Han.

As far as the figures themselves, I have sworn off buying anything Star Wars ever since the new trilogy(not a fan). But I love the original 3 movies. When I saw these I had to order them and remove my self imposed ban on Star Wars. Now I am trying to snag the team at least (Han, Chewie, Luke, Leia, C3PO and R2-D2). I almost ordered the regular version of Sideshow's R2-D2 until I realized the exclusive even existed. Makes me scared to order other figures now unless I know for sure what I am getting.

Hmmm. DX15 and Marty were revealed after mentioned here but those were a long time coming. The Toy Fair thing held up as we got exactly what was hinted there. The "Living Carpet", Ripley, ASM 2 villains and the 1/12 Bat too. It looks like 1/2 of what was mentioned came to life. It's hard to tell if this is coincidence or not.

It's the only one you can order at the moment, and it includes every extra so far advertised.

I just ordered the two-pack from a UK seller, saving quite a bit of money.

The only thing that could happen now is that Sideshow announce their own exclusive addition to make people order from them instead! Which is what they did when they added the armless potted Groot to the Rocket and Groot pack. However, that might only been added later because it was a spoiler for the film.

It was purely coincidence. The entire thing was an April Fools joke by someone on OSR. If there's anything to go by at this point would be the two members talking about what they have in store through a "source" at Disney.

I think it's very likely there will be Han and Luke as troopers. The Stormtrooper is due for the HT treatment, and adding heads makes use of the armour for more sales.

Yeah I could see it being done even as a Toy Fair exclusive of some sort. I would love it. I missed out on the Sideshow set and have regretted it ever since.
