I do like the finish and that the dome seems to be sitting lower.

I don't know about this one. I look at it and it looks kinda great compared to the ones I already have (SSC ANH + deluxe and Medicom 2.0) but still somehow it doesn't really do it for me.

I don't think the helmet's any lower or the finish changed, it's just a more brightly lit shot with the head angled a bit down.

That said, it's still the best out of the box Vader you can buy.

The interrogation droid looks fantastic. I'm hoping it won't be too much in the aftermarket by itself so I can grab it.

There's still something not quite right about Vader, particularly his face. Helmet looks ok, but something's still not right.

I agree I was going to say the same thing lol. However, I have this on pre-order and its something that I would rarely display him with if at all given the context. Especially if there is no Princess Leia to pair it with. I'm excited about the Vader though!

Still unsure if I want to get this. The droid is cool, although I wish it was a little more round. I may just pick up the droid when the set is parted out and keep hope for a ROTJ Vader.

Kind a wish the droid had his own little stand and not shared. Look how Vader is pushed to the side having needing to share the spot light with a droid shown for only a few seconds. I'm getting a R2 D2/C3PO vibe here as if Vader and the droid are buddies!!!

Yeah I think it's really the small chest armor and chest box that's throwing everything off, because when I look at just the head alone it looks pretty good to me (if a bit too sleek and clean for ANH).

And as to the Interrogation Droid, it may have been a bit pear-shaped from the google images I just looked up, but certainly not to THIS degree. HT definitely went a bit overboard with that.

I think the head is heavily airbrushed, it's too smooth. It almost looks like the reflections were added in.

It's those "separators" that seemed most disturbing to Leia.

I'm liking the new pics and the droid looks cool. Yea, it's a little more elongated than it should be and while that's not a deal breaker, it is annoying. Nailing likenesses are one thing, but little stuff like this should be child's play to ace for the best licensed 1/6 company in existence
