I'll post this in this thread , why not.... I finally watched Star Wars with my six year old son this weekend....his first impression when he saw Darth Vader was priceless...as Darth Vader walked into the Tantive , my son whispred in awe under his breath ....."Darth Vader!" ...and this scene will forever be in his mind as his intro to Darth Vader, the way it was for me as a 6 year old in 1977.

The cool thing about that Vader intro is he doesn't even have to say anything, and he still comes off intimidating and badass as hell.

Not sure how many movie villains have ever been able to pull that off.

Since the Interrogator Droid was constructed from two astromech domes, let the size comparisons commence with Sideshow's Artoo...

Vader is a great villain! I love vader! I really want a 1/6 perfect anh vader. I have had several 1/6 vader figure. Hasbro, both sideshow (delux sold cause his thin arms and his giant gloves...aaarrgggg, and anh never came out from his box). Hot toys gave me a hope. A perfect anh vader for my showcase. I was expecting for a figure like reeve superman. Something of definitive. Now every picture that I see encourage me to improve my custom vader that has permanently taken its place in the showcase. Hot toys vader is a nice figure. It's really impressive, but that weird gloves, that out of size chestbox, that not screen accurate belt , that sporty slim body, that surprised facemask. Oh my god. I've to became a customizer! So I do it! But hot toys have broken my heart! Sorry for my english.... sorry about the venting.

Probably true, but still

I didn't know that. Nice piece of SW trivia. If that's the case I'd say the ID is a little undersized

Yeah, a few of us are building 1:1 versions of the Interrogator Droid right now out of fiberglass from new restored molds. Here is the TOP part, which you can clearly see when separated that it was made from an Astromech dome:

Just FYI, in the youtube video Howard doesn't talk about the figures at all. They are just there as backdrops. It's a crap interview about life, his feelings, blah blah blah.

The interrogator droid looks like a babies' head that was pushed too tight through the birth canal.

And yes I'm talking from experience. :lol

Guess a perfect circle was too tough to mold.

It seemed like a fluff piece. The music was extremely grating, too.

In regards to the interrogator droid, not really seeing anything wrong with it. Still really excited that it's an accessory.

Honestly, I think it's the angle in those pics (and that they're likely also photoshopped in). It doesn't look that egg-shaped in the video:
