Really love my Vader. For me, its not a placeholder - always love the ANH look - more 'down and dirty'

Looks like it to me. This one photographs better than the others. Took some yesterday that I was surprised by. Second one is closer to how it actually looks.

I see you used the sideshow robe on obi-wan I still have the robe as well haven`t decided on which one to use. I did use the the ss outfit on obi-wan I think it looks better

I did that but I can't seem to get it to poke out of the material -- I think it keeps bending. I'll keep at it if there's no trick.

That thing was a total ***** to get out. The problem is that it's curved on the lower end. Mine eventually worked its way out of the side and not the bottom. Luckily, it didn't leave any noticeable hole

great pics! yeah i like the ss obi wan robe but maybe darkened? i never realized how dark cocoa it was til hot toys made me look up the reference pics. the wire in the hood really helps it lay nicely. i have my obi with hood down or thats what id do to my ss robe

My Vader is in limbo. Was supposed to be delivered the other day, says delivered tot he wrong city. Now showing in transit again. Hopefully makes its way to me.

After comparing the SS deluxe version against the HT version, I'm actually tempted to sell my SS version later.

I just opened up my Darth Vader yesterday and noticed the LED in the lightsaber was staying on even when the switch was in the off position. It's a much dimmer light compared to when it's actually switched on, and the only way to turn the light off is to take the batteries completely out of the arm. Has anyone else had this problem?

SSC said to swab the battery compartment with rubbing alcohol.

I had the same issue with the Luke's saber and the LED staying on (faintly) when in the OFF position. Initially I requested a replacement but what SSC recommended seem to fix the problem. I just hope it's not an issue that will return eventually and require a long-term solution.

Not sure if this has been addressed already (still catching up on all the posts on this thread, starting on page 790).
