Don't hold your breath. Probably just releasing more of the same. If you want improvements, then wait for the 2.0 to be announced.

Looks great at scale I bet.

Thank you. It does actually. Is it perfect? No. The top of his left cheek (that is black) is not as smooth as I would like so I'm sure I'll revisit that at some point.
As of right now I want to finish my R2.

I'm sure we will find discrepancies with that figure as well LOL. At $200 to $300 a pop, I was never thrilled about having to do any modding especially since I've never done it before. But I will say that by modding my Vader I have learned quite a few things

Got the figure back together. Put the batteries in the belt boxes...what a PITA. Even turning them on is ridiculous. This will probably be the only time I use them. But I think the paint job turned out pretty good.

Thank you! Yeah the switches need to be done. I just need a break from him right now.

I still have to do the chest armor. Do I just need gun metal and black acrylics? And what do I use to seal the paint in? New to painting, every time I try to paint stuff it turns to ****, but I've seen some nice results in here with the chest armor.

Pretty much. I'm new at this too but I based the grey areas out with a flat aluminum and then washed with diluted gunmetal. But honestly, in the end, I ended up mixing the black to darken up the gunmetal and did a regular couple coats on the gray areas.

Ooooooh yeah. My custom 8" acrylic stand for my Vader came in. It's done by the awesome Stoney's Stands (on Facebook). Loving it!

Thought I'd post this for all you chest and belt box modders.

That's a nice pic. I didn't copy the battle damage of the boxes and chest box, as this is when Kermit Eller was wearing the suit. When looking at screen caps from ANH I didn't see as much damage. I wonder if that was a result of the costume components rubbing together more and some paint chipping here and there while Kermit wore the suit.
