Hey zackg_. Thanks again for your input.
Doesn't the fact people are doing the white paper fix on the eyelenses, to more accurate results, point out that work should be done at the factory?

I've always felt the amber/red lenses in ANH is a bit overplayed and embellished.

Comic books did that mostly. And bad transmissions of the movie. You don't see people wanting transparent boxes floating around their TIE fighters.

The amber eyes on ANH Vader were as subtle as the green lens on Stormtrooper helmets. It's nice to know its there but no one wants a green-eyed trooper. Red-eyed Vader is equally incorrect.

Hey HT, where are the Vader red digital readout lenses from Revenge of the Sith, make this happen ?!? i'm kidding

RO red-eyes were reflections from his lava-house. A deliberate nod to fans of the red-eye syndrome. He didn't have them in any other scene.

They were red pretty much the whole Imperial Cruiser "boarding party" scene too, but then that last close up, after he's finished doing his Wolverine bezerker impression and he's watching the Tantive fly away, they're black.

They were red pretty much the whole Imperial Cruiser "boarding party" scene too, ...

Everything was red in that scene... but his eyes were shadowed and not red... I just watched it. Perhaps there's a frame from a saber flash but he doesn't have red eyes.

Red eyes is a myth like the blue jacket.

The scene before. When he had the line about the boarding party.

Vaders lenses in Star Wars were not red like the color red, it was a amber color. The red is exagerated. I have the EFX legend Vader helmet that is supposed to be close to screen colored much like the SL Vader helm and it's definitely not red.

Neither of those are the scene I'm talking about. One is just a promo shot too.

Definitely check out the scene, they're like that pretty much the entire time. He's looking out onto the space battle.

Anyhow, I can see why HT went heavier on the red lenses for the Rogue One figure since most of his scenes in the movie have red reflections going on at the very least.
