Hot Toys: Prometheus - MOVIE SPOILERS!

I think every one is too concerned, we will get Shaw but the others will be a maybe.If they announce a sequel i think we will see more , cross your fingers.Thank goodness i am a predator fan too just in case

We've seen her backside in some backstage photos. Whether or not the figure actually goes into production is another thing.

Has Hot Toys ever shown this many sneaks of a figure and accessories and cancelled? I was just looking up Prometheus Hot Toys figures a few nights ago after the Sideshow Engineer sneak. I found a preview that said Hot Toys was going to bring out Elizabeth Shaw and Meredith Vickers. I want to see what Sideshow might do. But I would love to get a figure of Charlize Theron even though I thought there would be more to her character in the movie. I have a feeling her character might be something else that was changed during filming just like the planet's name. Still as I posted on the other forum, I love the space suits and when Shaw got the axe, the movie channeled a retro sci-fi horror feel for me. Definitely interested in the figures.

I'm betting this figure will be revealed when "The Brother Strauss" decide to make the fourth Prometheus picture!!!!

Nah. I mean I was disappointed by how it ended. I was really into it but found the ending really really weak.

Do people that don't like Prometheus also not like the original Alien? I mean, they're both slow, thoughtful movies built around a central lead with otherwise minimal character development, and a focus on great cinematography, landscapes, etc.

What am I missing that makes Prometheus so bad? It seems like it accomplished exactly what it was supposed to in the same way the original Alien movie did.

*Edit: Adrosi, I understand now that you just didn't get as much bang out of the ending as you'd have liked. But, I am still curious as to others who have criticized the entire film.

I think the ending was great, setting up the bizarre next tale. I do feel that the theatrical cut of the final battle is anticlimactic though. Having the deleted scene integrated takes care of that. Hopefully eventually

I feel the same way about Alien too though. I love the egg pod sequence in the extended.

There's nothing "bad" about it. It's a great movie. Alien even shares many of Prometheus' "flaws", yet no one criticizes Alien. Humans are simply bitter and soulless.

prometheus is a triumph of cinema! period. Cant wait for the sequel.
btw, did you guys see the news this week? Noomi rapace stated that she had dinner with ridley scott two weeks ago. The purpose of the dinner was to discuss the script for the upcoming prometheus sequel that is currently in production. All of the info came straight from rapace. nice news for prometheus fans.
@carrot: the collectors edition Blu ray is amazing isnt it!? completely agree regarding the documentary (de lauzirika never disappoints).
