I'm so glad I've at least got the Dabbs Solid Snake and Liquid customs to look forward to. Who knows when Big Boss will be released.

I bet gz is the end of the game. Its the only thing in my mind that could justify paz being alive for the chopper scene. The base getting destroyed? Remember that? It was fine in the new trailer. Maybe im wrong.

Oh, I thought it was Sniper Wolf. When they announced DD, I was sure that she was going to tie into that. Her and Frank are going to pop up sometime.

Thanks Gaspar! It's going to be really interesting, since we have a lot of misdirects with Psycho Mantis thrown in the mix. It's possible Skullface gets killed off pretty quick in the beginning, but Big Boss is still dwelling on his methodologies. I don't think it'll be a "Tyler Durden" situation, but he's obviously loosing it, especially with all that mirror smashing. Ah...I'm so stoked, man.

Also, you guys talking about hair changing color. I was one of those kids. I had blond hair as a kid and then it turned dark brown when I got older. I still have a lot of blonde highlights though.

I do hope we see a kid Snake in this, but he shouldn't have any interaction with Liquid. Like end the game with Big Boss resuming command of FOX-HOUND, and he takes Snake under his wing and trains him.

Just noticed something at 5:15 in the MGS V trailer. Pay attention to the noses and left eye brows. Both "Elis" have the exact scar on their noses and eyebrows. So, I think it's the same person (aka. Eli, aka. Liquid). Snake isn't shown here.

My guess, it's probably some "Phantom" delusion. Just like when Skull Face suddenly animated from the ether behind Big Boss.

Yeah, Bane here mentioned that they are also wearing the same clothes, which could be interpreted that Liquid then knows he has a twin brother and he obsesses with him, hence the mirror image, which I find it to be a very cool theory.

Another thing I noticed, how the trailer heavily focuses of language and words, and how they separate or identify us as countrymen, I can't help but relating that notion with the fact that Big Boss is said to speak very little in this game, adding to the concept of him being the founder of Outer Heaven.

I wonder what literature Kojima got those ideas from, I'd like to read it.

Another thing I noticed just now :lol

Remember the eyes of Kaz, that look weird? Well, the eyes of the frog looking guys and the girls who teleport like Quiet have the same eyes, maybe Code Talker too.

Kojima was probably inspired by the Tower of Babel with the whole language aspect of the story.

:lol Tower of babel was the 1st thing that occurred to me. I'm gonna have to read it

I need to start reading bible stories, I'm not religious at all, but biblical stories are pretty cool.

The Tower of Babel was essentially the first instance of a one-world government. And given the nature of it's history, when the world spoke one language, I can see where Kojima got his inspiration from :lol. That was a good catch by pturtle.

From the Biblical account in Genesis 11: 1-9 (New King James translation):
Now the whole earth had one language and one speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. 3 Then they said to one another, “Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.” They had brick for stone, and they had asphalt for mortar. 4 And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

5 But the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. 6 And the Lord said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. 7 Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” 8 So the Lord scattered them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building the city. 9 Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad over the face of all the earth.
