Honestly, the triangular window on the chest piece is what I hate most about it. I'm a circle fan on red and gold suits. I'm glad Joss went with what he did with the VII. But the VI is actually my least favorite suit. Though I don't mind the triangle on the Silver Centurion since that's just classic.

Same here, I would rather figures which have the possibility of flight poses seeming my next two Iron Men are of the Die Cast variety and the possibility of a DC Mark VI in the future is the only way I am picking up that suit (not spending the the prices some are asking for for an older suit with known fade issues, plus I would rather cross my fingers for an accurate "reindeer games" one in terms of weaponry).

Be it 100% plastic or some metal content I will still consider the 45, even if that would number 5 Iron Men in my collection already, the suit is just gorgeous even if I know for a fact if the 46 is in any way similar to the concept art that will make it onto my shelves too.

I want a "Reindeer Games" Mark VI, too!

For me, the triangle just seemed so high-tech and fresh, after a bunch of circular chest RTs. I have always had a ton of love for the Mark VI.

Great post Brainy. This is one of the best scenes in The Avengers. What an entrance and just a gorgeous shot. I would buy this 1/6 figure in a heartbeat.
