The fact that Chewie is not released with C-3PO back/pack, chain and breather mask tells us that HT’s is open to the idea of multiple releases. I would love to have this but I assume the price of a ESB/ROTJ Chewie would cost more and $250 is a high enough price for me.

Yeah, same boat. I am about to cancel this if the final product is as atrocious. I can wait for an ESB version....

Agreed, I might just forget I ordered it. I'll lose a deposit I put down with a local seller, but $25 is a fraction to a $250 disappoinment!

I like to get my Star Wars bases signed by the actor and I just found out Peter Mayhew will be in Ireland in October. I cannot wait to meet him and get a stand base signed. Be nice to have my Chewie figure by then as I could get the box signed too.

He was at SDCC this year signing autographs on the main floor all four days. It will cost you though.. it's like $50 an autograph. He usually is in a wheel chair, he can stand and walk but usually does not. He is a nice guy and smiley but does not talk much. He is all about the money for the photos/autographs. I ended up with an ok photo but didn't want to pay for the in-booth photo so just snapped it from a few feet away.

Agreed. Norman Reedus, Daryl from The Walking Dead, is charging around $100 I think for an auto at the Chicago Comic Con at the end of August. Ernie Hudson charged me $30 to sign my Ecto 1 license plate.

I wouldn't hold it against him, personally. He's got one role that's been paying the bills for almost 40 years (at least I'm unaware if he's done other significant work). Doing all those conventions has got to make one a little numb to the fans.
