I hope the delay takes as long as it takes to fix the head

Best,

Small behind the scenes side profile pic of Chewbacca from Episode 7...it is strange how Chewie's mouth projects out more on this figure.

I think I did a good job when I did my custom sculpt of him some years back. I still up date it so if I need to use on the production figure when it ships

good to see he's looking rather grey in the new film. He was looking a little too fresh for an aged wookie lol

I wonder how much of the Chewie we see in the movie will really be played by Peter Mayhew, given his lack of mobility these days. Something tells me it's probably a lot less than they're letting on. Since it's doubtful he'll just be sitting in the cockpit the entire time.

Although it would be kind of cool if they incorporated that into the character somehow, by having Chewie move a bit slower or with a limp or something.

Hopefully he's hard of hearing and has bad eyesight too.

You guys definitely want to watch a different movie. I'd have it so Wookie life spans are 2x that of a human so that he's still no more than middle-aged by the time episode 9 is done. I have a feeling the others won't be in the other movies.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Wookies already have long life spans and Chewie was already 200 years old in ANH.

Can't remember and too lazy to go look it up. ;) Awesome. I just want a Chewbacca that's going to be in ass-kicking shape, regardless of how old Mayhew may be. I can't imagine two more Star Wars movies without a Wookie otherwise. We've already seen what happens to "SW" movies without a Wookie in a central role.
