The irony of this figure is that it's supposedly the hardest thing that HT have ever done because of the fur. They've nailed that element. But they've messed up the thing that they usually get right - the underlying sculpt.

I would not care if it`s not 100% like the movie. but as long a it`s close. delays always means bad at times because when another product comes out and then all of a sudden bam then you get hit with three figures at once because of delays

Yeah if the final product ends up looking like it has at SDCC.....I'm gonna cancel mine.

Well, hopefully this is on track this week in HK.
Plastic enemies have been teasing on facebook the Hot Toys G1 Optimus Prime and the thread in these forums has case pics to prove that they have arrived in HK.
Han and Chewie were next on the release list AFTER Optimus Prime.
X fingers we something THIS week.

I heard there was a problem with the packaging at the factory.

Chewie's face is so big they couldn't close the box.

They're deciding whether to make his face smaller or the box bigger...

Looks great, wondering what kind of maintaining the hair of chewy is gonna need? Like a post previously,a brush should definitely be included, unless constant use might pull out the hairs, wish we got more info on the type of care chewy will need,it's making it hard for me to decide wether to grab the figure or not, really not interested in han,but who better to pose chewy with then han.lol?

You need to make sure to buy the two-pack and all your concerns will take care of themselves.

Just a reminder for everyone of what we're NOT getting. This looks like an early convention shot of the prototype, but it's the most convincing shot I've seen. Almost wondering if there's not some photoshop going on in the face.
