For me the lips on chewie were a little too vivid so i painted them a tad darker. Also looking inside the head again the end of a wee white peg can be seen which makes me think that the mouth is a separate piece to the rest of the head and is plugged into the face. I received my Han & Chewie 2-pack today from a fellow Freak and was really impressed with Chewie. Han is definitely a big step up from the SS version but the head sculpt didn't wow me at first sight, as some other sculpts have, in the past. (TDK Alfred and Red Skull Hugo Weaving, for example.)

Hoping we do get an ESB Han version as well.

They are back in their box until I can pick up another Detolf from Ikea.

But I'm definitely glad that I picked up the duo. Bring on the Falcon cockpit!

Just noticed Popcultcha has increased the price of the Han/Chewie 2 pack to $700AUD and the seperate figures by a similar margin. They removed the existing discount just before the 20% off halloween sale taking them from $610 to $630, but this is quite a jump from there considering they only just got stock which would have been currency hedged at the lower amount.

I was going to wait on Obi-wan and Stormtrooper Luke to pick up in their 12 days of Christmas sale (assuming they are in stock by then) but if they see similar hikes on release the sale price will be around the same as the current preorder price (further discounted with some pennies).

I noticed this last night whilst having a look at anything newly listed.

Another place I have bought from also jacked up their price for this 2 pack at the same time. I'm wondering whether to just pick up the single figures from somewhere else or still get the 2 pack. Not sure if the 2 pack is enough with the extra accessories that are coming with it.

There's just too much coming out all at once for me to keep buying all at once. Obi-Wan and the Han/Chewie pack have just come into stock and soon Vader and both Luke figures will be released. It's a lot of money to drop all at once, even if a deposit has been paid.

My Chewie is missing several of the silver beads on his bandolier. No I didnt knock them off with my ape hands. lol

There is no glue residue either but sadly Im missing like 5 or so.
Thoughts?

FYI you can buy 1/6 MG 34's (the long rifle) cheap on eBay - it's not a rare gun at all, and they are similar quality to the HT. The only difference is the SW version has a few small fins added to the barrel and a couple of other minor bits. Really not noticeable.

Thanks for the complements I used a mix of different browns and white to get something close to match the color of the lighter fur. And added some black to the brow/forehead.
