Guys, just hold tight, we'll get ESB, ROTJ, EP 7, EP 8 and EP 9 Chewie, if he lives that long.
HT will milk this figure for all it's worth, just like they do with most popular figures and it will look a lot better. You can always get the ANH one, and probably at a discount, as people dump it in favor of the new and improved Chewie.

ESB next probably but I don't see it coming out till 2017 earliest. TFA version has to be coming up soon but it will be DIFFERENT in appearance

Ironically TFA Chewie will have lighter fur and look more like ANH Chewie but people will be complaining that it doesn't look like TFA Chewie.

I think your right, seeing the movie, Chewie was the only one who hadn't seem to have aged.

But don't you remember? He gets shot at the start and is slowly dying over the course of the film but then gets blown to bits at the end by a purple space bazooka before he can peacefully pass on.
