A Vader that breathes, small droid, light up Saber...
and SSC gave us an extra head, light up base, light up helmet stand, and $50 cheaper...

Yup SSC wins it for me.
I can just buy the light up saber on ebay, same with the droid for under $50.
Glad I got the Vader a year in a half earlier and cheaper.

Note if SS released there version now it'd easily be the same price if not more I'd say. HT quality wins over SS.
Those SSC DX extras were nice but a bit useless though.
The droid is probably more useable for display.And I'm guessing people who bought SSC Vader v1 could say the same thing to you - they got their Vader for $125, half what you paid (and arguably a better facemask sculpt and definitely a better jumpsuit.)

I just hope they fix his armor. It looks weird being as short as it is compared to what it should be.

I heard that the 3.0 is the one to wait for. It's going to have a battle action lever on his back, so when he's not holding his lightsaber it makes him look likes he's spanking his monkey.
(The heavy breathing sound effects are going to be ace).

Yes please hurry because sideshow collectables is going to be selling it for $299 right up until the deleivery date and then some. Milk much... No hurry in buying this.

I think the HT suit looks even more like liquorice. Really sticky liquorice.
The useless trinkets on SS Vader were the lights.
On the HT it will be the lights and the heavy breathing.
Can't get excited for this or Ob-Wan. Also regretting pre-ordering Hank and the Muppet.

The HT bodysuit needs that signature wrinkling, yeah.
