HT probably will make a ESB or ROTJ Vader. Maybe I should wait for that cause HT seems to get better each time they redo a character (for the most part).

Just won this figure on ebay for £182. It had been listed as damaged due to the scratch marks, weathering on the face mask .

The ANH Vader leaves a lot to be desired IMO. The gloves are awful and the belt is super fragile. Rogue One Vader is pretty good if you like the look. ESB/ROTJ will happen. Might not be for a couple years but it will.

This is the reason I went with Jazz's mods for my ANH Vader and with RO gloves, trying to make it as close to ANH perfection as possible. Of course it is not perfect, but IMHO much better than both stock ANH and RO Vader figures. And definitely waiting for ESB and/or ROTJ (reveal) Vader. Though till then there are many other (Imperial in my case) figures HT can make.

Yep, that's the way I'm going. Sourcing parts from both HT Vaders, Sideshow Vaders, a modified Roadblock body, and several bits I modified or scratch built, and custom parts I had made, like the belt buckle from Jon de Guzman in the pic below.

It's been a long road working on my ANH Vader, but it's well worth it.

I much prefer the ANH Vader, especially with the Jazz Mods. The cape, tunic, cod piece, belt boxes, chest box, shoulder armor, and boots are all superior imo. The RO has a nicer suit, leather belt, and gives but with a few mods the ANH takes the cake for me.

i just took apart a Finn saber hand... it is VERY embedded in there. I still think it could be done, but the wires for the saber are VERY fragile... so go slow!!!
