The dancing harley sculpt sucked though, it had weird purge mask vibes.

The 2016 one is still the best one, somehow they just made it way worse here with the new paint and rolling eyes.

Either way they shouldn't be reusing sculpts from 8 years ago on artisan figures.

Sculpt looks pretty different from the other version, and worse likeness imo. But you can easily tell it's a different sculpt with the cheek nasolabial folds and chin fold. Kinda looks like Susie Bacon.

Is the Red Dress Artisan Harley next?

I'd probably be more interested in a red dress Harley.

Just committed to the JND Harley, so I may pass on this, considering the Artisan line runs in the $400 range.

Looks OK from a couple of the photos but off in most of the promo shots. i would say this sculpt is better than what Hot Toys offered on their Prisoner or Birds of Prey (shiny suit) sculpts.

You're seeing the downside to Artisan Editions. Besides the ridiculous upcharge for the hair, they can't give us a secondary sculpt where you can remove the hair and use it on the second sculpt. I mean they can add another rooted sculpt but, again, the $money$...

They could still design a head with interchangeable faces like they did for Jack Sparrow. Doesn’t work for ever figure but that proved it can be done.
True, but Jack doesn't have a visible hairline. The bandana makes it possible for swap out faces for him. Wouldn't work here with HQ or any other figure with a visible hairline unfortunately with a bad seam showing.

Idk why they went with this sculpt and not a smiling or slight smirking sculpt instead. A little to late to do this honestly imo. They should have given us Shazam or finally shown BvS superman 2.0. Smh

I don’t mind the way it looks. Sculpt could be better but I’m thinking of still trying for her.
Same. If I could guarantee they'd make another -- the 2016 outfit or the red dress, perhaps -- I might hold off, but this could be the only Artisan Harley (for a while, anyway). Might as well try, right?

Ugh, this was the Harley I've been waiting years for (love this suit from TSS), and it doesn't quite hit the mark. I don't care for the artisan label/cost, but I am glad it has rooted hair, even if sculpted braids would have been fine. Unfortunately, it reuses (or repurposes) the sculpt from the first SS release, which I was never a fan of. I like expressive sculpts. but that one really limits the range of poses. A smile/smirk like the promo shot would have been perfect.

Definitely mixed feelings about this, but I'll try for the drop and see what fate decides for me.

Also, I think the inclusion of the javelin all but rules out HT doing the red dress look, so this may be the only Harley from TSS.

But what is the Javelin for?? WHATS ITS PURPOSE???

Unfortunately during that test queue they did yesterday when everybody briefly thought maybe they put her up by surprise, I realized I would've been bummed to miss out, instead of just being on the fence. Guess they finally got me on one of these artisan figs, assuming I get lucky in the line placement. It's too bad that only some of these recent outputs get both an artisan and sculpt hair version, but so far, they don't seem to ever put out the more expensive "real" hair version and then a cheaper standard later on, so this may be the only chance to get a Margot Harley in red and black.
